We lift up ### before the Lord, knowing that the desire for marriage is a godly one, as Scripture tells us it is not good for man—or woman—to be alone (Genesis 2:18). Yet we also recognize that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). ###, if you are seeking a spouse, we pray that the Lord would prepare you to be a wife who honors Him, and that He would bring a godly man into your life who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5).
However, we must also address something vital: the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your request. There is no greater name by which we approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only by His blood that we have access to God’s throne (Hebrews 10:19-22), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today—repent of your sins, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord (Romans 10:9-10). Without this foundation, even the desire for marriage will lack the blessing and purpose God intends.
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to seek the Lord first in all things, trusting that He will add to your life what aligns with His will (Matthew 6:33). A godly marriage is built on shared faith, so we pray you would not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). Instead, wait patiently on the Lord, who knows your heart’s desires and will fulfill them in His perfect timing (Psalm 37:4-5).
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her desire for marriage. Lord, if it is Your will, prepare her heart to be a wife who reflects Your love and holiness. Bring a godly man into her life—a man who fears You, walks in Your ways, and will lead her spiritually. Give her patience to wait on Your timing and wisdom to recognize Your hand at work. If there are areas in her life that need surrender or repentance, convict her by Your Spirit and draw her closer to You. May her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, whether in singleness or marriage. Guard her heart from compromise and grant her discernment to walk in purity and truth. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
###, we encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking God to shape your heart according to His will. Seek fellowship with believers who can support and guide you in this season. Remember, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Stay rooted in Christ, and trust that His plans for you are good.
