Hi. i need some serious help. my 15 yr. old stepson & i just got into a huge fight. he disrespects me everyday, all day. my husband i think feels trapped in the middle. today he was talking very ugly to his brother. i told him not to handle a problem but to let me know & i will handle it. he told me his daddy said he could & he doesn't have to listen to me. i lost it! told him to leave the dinner table & wait in his room until his father got home. he said no, i'm gonna finish eating & proceeded to keep eating. i took his fork & plate & said leave the table now! he started walking down the road ,saying he will do as he wants, ect.,ect.,. my husband is still at work. i have grounded him, spanked him, & i'm at the end of my rope. i have raised him since he was 5 & we were close until he became 12 or so. what do i do about such disrespect? he has started fighting me about going to church recently, too. please pray he finds the right path & gets on it & for my patience to hold out. i love him, but dont always like him. thanx, mandy
