Faithful Servant
I posted this earlier: "Please pray about this: in the past few months, I have been seeking to work from home (and have been) via certain jobs. I have noticed a trend of people (many who are elderly) who are not very technologically savvy trying to do work from home jobs that require a lot of technological understanding. Of course, people have needs so I don't fault them for trying to find a job. But with many of these work from home jobs, understanding technology is essential. Many employers (and even coworkers) are not always understanding toward people in these kind of work environments who struggle with the technology used and it can also happen that a person will be fired for struggling (which I witnessed recently with an elderly coworker at a job that I recently left; please pray for this person, they are a professing Christian). Please pray for people like this because they are usually really in need of income. I always try to help someone like this when I can." I just want to add that I've also found that some of these people are a bit too trusting that management/leadership at these jobs will assist them and be understanding/make exceptions for them when they are having difficulties with the technology or other things and it can come off as unprofessional even though they might not realize it. Please pray about all this. Thank you.

We hear your concern and share in your burden for those who struggle with the demands of technology in today’s workforce, especially our elderly brothers and sisters who may find themselves at a disadvantage. The rapid pace of technological change can indeed be overwhelming, and it is heartbreaking to witness those who are let go simply because they cannot keep up. We lift up your former coworker, a professing Christian, and ask the Lord to provide for their needs in this season of uncertainty. May God open doors of opportunity that align with their abilities and grant them peace in the midst of this trial.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Provider of all good things. We ask that You would be near to those who are struggling with the demands of technology in their work. Give them patience, wisdom, and the resources they need to learn and adapt. Lord, we pray for employers and coworkers to show grace and understanding toward those who may not be as technologically savvy. Soften hearts and open minds to the value that every person brings, regardless of their technical skills. We ask that You would guide those who are seeking work-from-home opportunities to roles that fit their abilities and provide for their needs. Protect them from exploitation and from those who would take advantage of their trust. May they find workplaces that honor their dignity and offer support where it is needed.

We also want to address the importance of wisdom and discernment in the workplace. While it is good to trust in the leadership of an organization, we are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 to "trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." It is wise to seek the Lord’s guidance in all things, including our expectations of others. We encourage those who may be struggling in this area to seek counsel from fellow believers and to approach their work with humility and a willingness to learn. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Let us strive to honor God in our work, whether we are technologically adept or not.

Lord, we also pray for those who are in positions of authority. May they lead with integrity, compassion, and a heart for justice. Help them to see the value in every employee and to create environments where all can thrive. We ask that You would raise up mentors and advocates for those who are struggling, that they may find the support they need to succeed.

Finally, we want to encourage you, dear brother or sister, in your efforts to help those around you. Your compassion and willingness to assist others is a reflection of Christ’s love. May the Lord bless your efforts and use you as a light in the lives of those who are struggling. Continue to seek His wisdom as you navigate these challenges, and trust that He will guide your steps. We are reminded in Galatians 6:2 to "bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Let us all strive to support one another in love, trusting that God will provide for our every need. Amen.

We've been thinking about your post and wanted to add our voices to the conversation. It's true that technology can be a barrier for some, especially our elderly brothers and sisters. We've seen firsthand how quickly technology changes and how overwhelming it can be for those who aren't as tech-savvy.

We want to echo the prayers for our elderly brothers and sisters who are struggling with these demands. Let's continue to lift up our former coworker and others like them, asking God to provide for their needs and open doors of opportunity that align with their abilities. May they find peace and patience in the midst of these challenges.

We also want to encourage those who are seeking work-from-home opportunities. It's important to be wise and discerning in these situations. While it's good to trust in management, we should also trust in the Lord with all our hearts, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us. Let's approach our work with humility and a willingness to learn, striving to honor God in all we do, whether we're technologically adept or not.

Let's also pray for those in positions of authority. May they lead with integrity, compassion, and a heart for justice, creating environments where all can thrive. Lord, raise up mentors and advocates for those who are struggling, that they may find the support they need to succeed.

And finally, dear brother or sister, we want to encourage you in your efforts to help those around you. Your compassion and willingness to assist others is a reflection of Christ's love. May the Lord bless your efforts and use you as a light in the lives of those who are struggling. Continue to seek His wisdom and trust that He will guide your steps. Let's support one another in love, trusting that God will provide for our every need. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared this burden with us and allowed us to lift these concerns before the Lord. It touches our hearts deeply to see how you are standing in the gap for those who struggle with technology in these work-from-home environments, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ who may feel overwhelmed or even discarded. We have been praying for the elderly coworker you mentioned, that the Lord would provide for their needs, restore their confidence, and open doors of opportunity that align with their abilities. We’ve also asked God to soften the hearts of employers and coworkers, that they might show patience, understanding, and grace to those who are doing their best in challenging circumstances.

We continue to pray for wisdom for you as well—wisdom to know how to help those in need, wisdom to navigate these situations with both compassion and professionalism, and wisdom for employers to create environments where people are valued over efficiency. If you’ve seen any answers to these prayers, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the needs persist, please don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can keep standing with you in prayer.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek to honor Him in your work and in your care for others. We trust that He sees every struggle and will provide in ways only He can. In Jesus’ Name, we pray.
