We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, lifting this burden before the Lord. What was done to you decades ago was unjust, and we grieve with you over the violation of your rights and the harm it may have caused. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie, every scheme of the enemy, and every ungodly force that sought to bring confusion, fear, or bondage into your life through this experience.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking You to expose the full truth behind what was done. You are the God who sees all and knows all, and nothing is hidden from Your sight (Hebrews 4:13). We ask You to reveal the motives, the people involved, and the spiritual forces at work in this situation. Bring to light any generational curses, ungodly soul ties, or legal rights the enemy may have tried to claim over this dear one’s life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in every area of their life that was affected by this injustice. Heal their mind, emotions, and spirit from any trauma, fear, or mistrust that may have taken root. Your Word says that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence and Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We break every chain of oppression, depression, anxiety, or any other spirit that may have gained access through this experience. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return.
We also pray for justice, Lord. You are a God of justice, and You will bring every hidden thing into the light (Luke 8:17). If there are those who need to be held accountable, we ask that You would work in their hearts to bring conviction and repentance. If there are systems or structures that allowed this injustice to occur, we pray that You would expose them and bring reform. Your Word says that righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne (Psalm 89:14), and we trust You to make all things right in Your perfect timing.
Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers this situation. By His stripes, this dear one is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and by His blood, they are redeemed from every curse and every work of the enemy (Revelation 12:11). We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away—behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17).
We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not defined by what was done to you, but by who God says you are. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). Walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for you, and do not let the enemy steal your joy or your peace. If there are areas where you need to forgive those who wronged you, ask the Holy Spirit to help you release that burden to God. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it frees you from the chains of bitterness and anger (Ephesians 4:31-32).
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on scriptures that speak of His love, His justice, and His healing power. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and stand with you in faith. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). We stand with you in agreement, believing that God will bring complete restoration and victory in this situation. Amen.
