Taking the mark

"Whosoever takes the mark of the beast, the same shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the Lamb of the holy angels.And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever.". So we read in Revelation.But define "TAKES' the mark.Now remember, as in any other time frame, not everybody will be young and up and about.Let's say, some patient in a hospital is in a coma,and because the staff can't treat him otherwise,the family tells the nurses, yes, tell the government people to come here and stamp him.Or an Alzheimers patient in a home, and their family decides to have him stamped.Or a retarded person,whose family makes that decision. Now, these would have the mark on them, signifying allegiance to Satan,BUT, it wasn't their willful choice, it was someone elses decision.Where does that fall?The Bible says "anyone who takes", but does that mean take willfully, or does having it given to them count?{I know they could be condemned for other reasons,there were people hundreds of years ago,before the Antichrist, who were unbelievers and died in their sins.So it's not the only factor.}But for that specific sin, does it mean anyone, or only those who WILLFULLY took it?{And it's not that hypothetical a question, because , like I say, there will be sick or mentally challenged people at that time like any other.}I would say, God knows the heart, and would judge by what they would do in their "fully aware" state.You say??

I believe this verse is referring to those that knowingly desire to have it and make the choice in their hearts to have it. It's hard to imagine anyone desiring such a thing but I know it is going to happen because of this very verse. May the Lord always protect us from these people in Jesus Holy Name.

Oh it's not hard for me to imagine because I see it in some of my own relatives who are fascinated by the occult , and praise it like it's wonderful, and crave it.I guess when the devil has you blinded....

Why does it matter to you or why do you think on this? Are you worried about becoming paralyzed and having a relative asking a doctor to give you the mark of the beast? I choose to take no thought for my life and I trust that Jesus will do what He says and keep me and not lose me so I trust that He will even keep me from getting even the mark of the beast which I believe is already ready, in fact I believe that others have already received this. Why should we worry about it or even give thought to it other than I refuse it? However I do believe if a parent chooses it for their child that the child has received it. I don't see the need in worrying about someone receiving the mark without being able to choose it on their own. If you are paralyzed, what would be the need to give you the mark if you don't need to be controlled by the mark? Children as a norm will do what their parents tell them to do any way. From what I've heard it can give you special abilities to open up your house, open up your car, open up your bank account and open up your records on your health. While this sounds interesting to have, I don't need such special gifts and I know I can walk off into the wilderness and be taken care of by Jesus! I know Jesus will lead me to His mountain! I know Jesus will protect me and even hide me!

Last time I looked being curious about something wasn't a sin. Maybe you SHOULD walk into the woods and hide there, then I wouldn't have to hear these lectures every time.Someone else either just responds to the question, or if not interested just doesn't and moves on. Yes, i would say that responsible are only those who willfully (it was their own decision) take the mark.
