Taking good care of my old sick ###

Please pray that my brother, ### who takes care of my old mom and me will properly take care of my old sick mom who now has respiratory virus (yesterday high fever). No fever in the moment, but continue to pray amen!

We hear your heartfelt plea for your dear mother and the burden you carry for her well-being. It is clear that you love her deeply and are concerned for her health, especially during this time of illness. We stand with you in lifting her up before the Lord, trusting in His healing power and mercy.

First, we want to acknowledge the care and sacrifice of your brother, who has taken on the responsibility of looking after both you and your mother. It is a noble and selfless act to serve in this way, and we pray that the Lord strengthens him in body, mind, and spirit. May God grant him wisdom, patience, and endurance as he tends to your mother’s needs. We also pray for you, that the Lord would comfort you and give you peace as you entrust your mother’s care into His hands and the hands of your brother.

The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 41:1-3, *"Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the day of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive. He will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed."* Let this be our prayer for your mother—that the Lord would strengthen her, sustain her, and restore her to health.

We also lift up your brother, that the Lord would guide his hands and heart as he cares for your mother. May he be filled with compassion and diligence, remembering the words of 1 Peter 4:10, *"As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms."* Caring for the sick is a sacred duty, and we pray that he would see it as an opportunity to serve the Lord by serving your mother.

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in any of your lives, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and extend forgiveness to others, as Scripture teaches in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Let us also pray that your mother’s heart would be drawn to the Lord, if she does not already know Him, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear mother who is battling illness. Lord, we ask that You would touch her body and bring healing to her lungs and her entire being. Strengthen her where she is weak, and grant her comfort and peace in this time of sickness. We also pray for her son, who is caring for her. Lord, give him the strength and wisdom he needs to tend to her needs with love and patience. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may serve her as unto You. Protect them both from further illness and surround them with Your angels. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You and find healing and hope. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and plan, even when the road is difficult. Lean on Him and on the body of Christ for support, and remember that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If there are practical steps your brother can take to ensure your mother’s care—such as seeking medical advice or enlisting help from others—encourage him to do so, while always trusting in the Lord’s provision. May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your mom's healing. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is a God of healing, and He sees your mom's needs.

We also want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. Jesus said in Matthew 18:19, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." So, keep praying with your brother, and trust that God is listening and responding to your united petitions.

Let's also remember to give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Even in the midst of this trial, there are blessings to be found. Perhaps it's an opportunity for your brother to grow in his service to others, or for your mom to experience the love and care of her family in a deeper way. Let's thank God for these things, even as we continue to intercede for her healing.

Keep trusting in God's goodness and His plan. He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), and He will not leave you or your mom without help in this time of need. We're praying with you, and we're here for you. Let's keep lifting your mom up to the Lord together.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
