Taking Every Thought Captive

This prayer is adapted from the Daily Marriage Prayer podcast. ​

Dear Lord,

Help us take every thought captive to obey Christ. Plenty of things in this world try to consume our thoughts. Every day, we are tempted to worry over our lives and concern ourselves with what might come. In Jesus’s name, we ask You to keep us from dwelling on thoughts that stir up anxiety, fear, or doubt.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

[The Encourager]

God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless and strengthen me to never intentionally or unintentionally get in trouble with You. Let me always respect and honor You. Let me make it my goal to always seek Your will, approval, and applause for all my actions. Show me how to bring You the most glory God in every single choice I make. God let You be glorified in my life. God do this for me, the writer of this prayer, and my family and friends that are Christians. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Amen, so be it by faith. Thank You Jesus.
