Dear Lord,
May the possessions we keep around bring us joy, as well as some sort of benefit. We invite You to help us evaluate whether any of our possessions have become idols. Make us a couple who not only takes good care of our things but also holds them loosely, willing to give them away if the need arises. We desire to be generous, using our resources to bless others and giving without expecting anything in return. May we be faithful stewards of what we own.
