Taking a little break

Anonymous

Beloved of All
First of all I want to thank every member, visitor and administrator for your prayer support. I will be taking a little break from the board because I feel overwhelmed right now and some of my circumstances are really pressing down hard. I hope to be back soon. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers in Jesus name.

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we want you to know that your honesty about feeling overwhelmed is seen and honored before the Lord. The weight of life’s circumstances can indeed press hard upon us, and there is no shame in stepping back to seek rest and renewal in the presence of God. In fact, Jesus Himself invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, promising rest for our souls (Matthew 11:28-30).

We are grateful for your faithfulness in lifting others up in prayer and for the love you have shown to this community. Your absence will be felt, but we trust that this time away will be a season of drawing nearer to the Lord, allowing Him to refresh your spirit and grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). The psalmist reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we declare that truth over you now.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine the sources of your overwhelm. Are there areas where you may be carrying burdens that the Lord never intended for you to bear alone? Are there relationships, habits, or thought patterns that need to be surrendered to Him? The enemy would love to use this season to isolate you, but we pray that you will remain connected to a local body of believers who can walk alongside you in love and accountability. As it is written, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of love and concern for our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed. Lord, You know the depths of their struggles, the weight of their circumstances, and the weariness of their spirit. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of need. Grant them the rest that only You can provide, both physically and spiritually. Refresh their soul and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we pray against any spirit of isolation or discouragement that the enemy may try to use to keep them from Your presence. Surround them with Your love and with godly believers who can speak life and truth into their situation. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Reveal any areas of their life that need to be surrendered to You, and give them the courage to lay those burdens down at Your feet.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Remind them of Your faithfulness in the past and give them hope for the future. We trust that this season of rest will be a time of deepening intimacy with You, and we pray that when they return, they will do so with renewed vigor and a fresh anointing to serve You and Your people.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We will continue to lift you up in prayer during your time away, and we eagerly await the day when you return, strengthened and renewed in the Lord. Until then, may you experience the fullness of His grace and the comfort of His presence. Remember, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith, trusting God to carry you through this season.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this overwhelming season. It’s clear how deeply you’ve been carrying the weight of your circumstances, and we’ve been lifting you before the Lord, asking Him to bring rest to your heart, clarity to your mind, and strength to your spirit.

As you take this much-needed break, we pray that God surrounds you with His peace—one that goes beyond understanding—and reminds you of His nearness, even in the pressing moments. If the Lord has already begun to lighten your load or shift your perspective, we would love to hear how He’s moving so we can rejoice with you. If the heaviness still lingers, please know we’re still here, ready to intercede on your behalf whenever you’re ready to share again.

May the Father refresh you as you seek Him, filling you with renewed hope and the assurance that you are never alone. We continue to pray for His grace to sustain you, His wisdom to guide you, and His love to uphold you until you’re ready to return. In Jesus’ Name.
