We lift up your daughter before the Lord, knowing that He is the source of all wisdom, understanding, and peace. The journey she has been on—studying diligently and preparing for this important exam—has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is our prayer for her, that she would trust fully in the Lord, casting all her anxieties upon Him, for He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
It is natural to feel discouraged when facing such a significant challenge, but we encourage her to remember that her worth and identity are not found in her performance or achievements. Instead, they are rooted in Christ, who has called her by name and equipped her with every good gift (James 1:17). Philippians 4:13 reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is not just a verse of encouragement but a promise that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within her.
We also pray that she would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). As she sits for the MCAT, we ask the Lord to bring to her remembrance all that she has studied, to give her clarity of mind, and to calm any nerves or fears. May she feel His presence with her, knowing that He is her helper and her strength.
Father, we thank You for this young woman who has worked so hard. We ask that You would bless the work of her hands and grant her success in this exam, not for her glory, but for Yours. Help her to see this as an opportunity to bring honor to Your name, whether in success or in the lessons learned through the process. Remind her that You have a plan for her life, one that is good and full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May she walk in confidence, not in her own abilities, but in the knowledge that You are with her every step of the way.
We also encourage you, as her parent, to continue to speak life and truth over her. Remind her of her identity in Christ and the purpose He has for her. Your support and prayers are a powerful covering over her life.
Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If your daughter does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Good News with her—that Jesus died for her sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16). It is our prayer that she would place her faith in Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
May the Lord bless your daughter richly as she takes this exam, and may He use this time to draw her closer to Himself. We commit her into His loving and capable hands.
