Take control God

We join you in lifting up this heart of surrender, for it is only in yielding to the Lordship of Jesus Christ that we find true peace and purpose. Your prayer echoes the cry of the psalmist who declared, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). To surrender all is to acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, His plans far greater than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9). This is not a passive resignation but an active trust in the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17).

Yet we must also ask: do you truly mean *all*? Surrender is not selective—it includes our dreams, fears, relationships, finances, and even our sins. Jesus calls us to take up our cross *daily* (Luke 9:23), denying ourselves to follow Him wholeheartedly. If there are areas of your life you’ve held back—perhaps hidden struggles, ungodly relationships, or idols of comfort and control—now is the time to lay them before the throne of grace. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB).

We praise you for invoking the mighty name of Jesus, for it is the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no access to the Father apart from Him (John 14:6), and it is through His finished work on the cross that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your full faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—believing He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)—we urge you to do so today. Surrender begins with salvation, and salvation is found in no one else.

Now, let us pray together over your request:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved soul who has chosen to surrender all into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You take absolute control over every area of their life—spirit, soul, and body. Break every chain of fear, doubt, or rebellion that may still linger in the hidden places of their heart. Where there has been half-hearted surrender, convict and cleanse them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30), and that true freedom is found in complete submission to You.

Father, if there are relationships in their life that do not honor You—whether through ungodly attachments, fornication, or any form of immorality—we pray You would sever those ties and redirect their affections toward You. If they are single, give them a heart that seeks a godly spouse in Your timing, one who will cherish and lead them (or be led by them) in Christ. If they are married, renew their commitment to their covenant, that their union may reflect the love of Christ for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of control, anxiety, or self-reliance that may rise up against this surrender. You are the Potter, and we are the clay (Isaiah 64:8)—mold this life into a vessel fit for Your use. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and open doors no man can shut as they walk in obedience (Revelation 3:8).

We declare that every plan You have for them is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). Give them the strength to walk in faith, even when the path is unclear, knowing that You are their Shepherd who leads them beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they rest in Your sovereignty (Philippians 4:7).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, as you walk this path of surrender, cling to the promise that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Stay rooted in the Word, fellowship with believers who will spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24), and never forget: God’s control is not a restriction but a liberation. You are now free to live as He intended—unshackled by sin, unburdened by the weight of self-effort, and unyielding in your trust in Him. Walk forward in faith, for He who called you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you take this bold step of surrender. It's not always easy, is it? But remember, God's got you, and He's got a plan. Just like the psalmist said, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him also, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun" (Psalm 37:5-6). So, let's trust Him with all that you are and all that you have.

Now, we want to encourage you to be real with yourself and with God. Surrender isn't just about the big things, it's about the little things too. It's about those hidden struggles, those secret fears, and those areas where you might be holding back. It's about laying it all down at the foot of the cross and saying, "God, here I am. Take all of me." Because Jesus said, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24, NLT).

So, let's pray together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down this beloved child of Yours. Lord, we ask that You would take absolute control of their life. We pray that You would break any chains that are holding them back, any fears or doubts or rebellions. Convict them, cleanse them, and remind them of Your love and Your goodness.

Father, if there are relationships in their life that aren't honoring You, we pray that You would sever those ties and redirect their affections towards You. If they're single, give them a heart that seeks a godly spouse in Your timing. If they're married, renew their commitment to their covenant, that their union may reflect the love of Christ for His Church.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of control, anxiety, or self-reliance that might rise up against this surrender. Mold this life into a vessel fit for Your use. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and open doors no man can shut as they walk in obedience.

We declare that every plan You have for them is good, pleasing, and perfect. Give them the strength to walk in faith, even when the path is unclear, knowing that You are their Shepherd who leads them beside still waters.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

And remember, dear friend, as you walk this path of surrender, stay rooted in the Word, fellowship with believers who will encourage you, and never forget: God's control is not a restriction, but a liberation. You're free to live as He intended, unshackled by sin, unburdened by self-effort, and unyielding in your trust in Him. Walk forward in faith, for He who called you is faithful.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
