Syrian Refugees

Father in Heaven, I thank You that You are a God of love, and that when humanity was wicked and You could have destroyed us, that instead You decided to come and suffer and die on the cross for us. Lord, we need to follow Christ and pick up our cross. Father, help those who call themselves Your children to not love their lives unto death. Lord, we need to love people instead of condemning them. We need to pray for the Syrians and help our neighbor so that we are not like the Levite or Priest who walked past the man on the side of the road. The good samaritan helped his enemy. Lord, we have to love as You love and only by Your Spirit will we be able to do that. Have mercy on this generation Lord, and help us to love as You love in Jesus name, amen.
