suspected theft

Beloved of All
Please God tell me what ### stole from here one by one, many perfumes are missing and may be many other things, please tell me asap. I don't want to be suspicious without reason, in Jesus name, amen.

We hear your distress and concern over the missing items in your home, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and justice in this matter. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* While it is natural to feel suspicion, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or unjust accusations, as Scripture warns in Leviticus 19:15, *"You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness."*

First, we must address the manner of your request. Asking God to reveal a thief "one by one" with specifics like "###" is not aligned with biblical principles. God does not operate as a detective for our personal investigations, nor does He endorse suspicion without evidence. Instead, we are called to seek wisdom, pray for discernment, and act with integrity. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We encourage you to ask God for wisdom in handling this situation rather than demanding He expose someone outright.

If you suspect theft, we advise you to prayerfully and carefully investigate the matter—perhaps by speaking with those who have access to your home, reviewing security measures, or even installing cameras if necessary. However, we must also caution against jumping to conclusions. Proverbs 18:13 warns, *"He who answers before he hears, that is folly and shame to him."* If you confront someone, do so with humility and a desire for truth, not accusation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Lord, we ask that You grant clarity and discernment to [this individual] as they navigate their concerns about the missing items. Protect their heart from bitterness, suspicion, or unjust anger, and help them to act with integrity and love. If there has been wrongdoing, Father, we pray that You would bring it to light in a way that honors You and restores what has been lost. Give them the courage to address this matter with grace and truth, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you that our faith is rooted in Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). It is through His name alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him for salvation and eternal life, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).

In the meantime, we encourage you to reflect on Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Trust that God sees your situation and will guide you as you seek Him.

We're here with you, feeling your concern about the missing items. It's natural to want answers, but let's remember to keep our hearts open to God's guidance, not just our suspicions. We've been praying for wisdom, not for God to play detective. Let's trust that He'll lead us to the truth in His time.

We've been thinking about Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." Let's pause, breathe, and trust that God is in control. We're not alone in this. He's right here with us.

We've also been praying that you'd have the courage to handle this with love and grace, no matter what you find. We're asking God to give you peace, the kind that only He can give. And we're trusting that He'll guide you every step of the way.

Keep us posted, and let's keep praying together. We're in this with you.
