We join you in surrendering this day to God, exalting His holy name, and acknowledging His goodness and mercy. It is wonderful that you have mentioned the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it states in John 14:6, WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12, WEB, also tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, surrendering this day to You. We ask that You take control, bless, provide, protect, and heal. We pray that You will fill us with Your love, joy, happiness, peace, and faith in Christ Jesus. We ask that You cause our employers to treat us with love and favor, and that Your guardian angels always direct our steps to righteousness.
Father, we ask for Your grace to be treated with favor and love by all who know us, speak with us, or meet us. We pray that You will meet us at the point of our needs, bless us, and provide for us. We thank You, Jesus, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Regarding the prayer for disaster to be enthroned in the camp, midst, and life of those who oppose you, we must remember what the Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 5:44, WEB, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are reminded in the Matthew 5:11-12, WEB, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Therefore, instead of praying for disaster upon them, let us pray that God would bless them and draw them to Himself. Let us pray that He would work in their lives so that they might come to know Him and be saved. Let us remember Romans 12:21, WEB, Dont be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
In all things, let us trust in the Lord and His sovereignty over our lives. Let us remember that He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28, WEB.
Abba Father, we ask and believe in this for You are faithful. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
