Surgery.
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for surgery. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that You are fully capable of guiding the hands of the surgeons and providing the perfect timing for this procedure.
Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray that the surgery would take place without delay, that all obstacles would be removed, and that the medical team would be prepared and equipped to perform this procedure with excellence. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that Your timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own desires. Give wisdom to the doctors, peace to the patient, and comfort to all who are waiting and praying.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, for You are in control. We pray for a spirit of peace and trust to fill the hearts of everyone involved, knowing that You are working all things together for good.
Father, we lift up this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed, as Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We come before You in Jesus' name, trusting in His power and His love.
We pray for complete healing, whether it comes through the surgery or through Your miraculous touch. Strengthen the faith of those who are waiting, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
