We lift up your daughter ### to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things together by His mighty power. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 139:13-16 that He knit each of us together in our mother’s womb, and He knows every bone in our bodies—so we trust Him completely with ###’s knee and her recovery. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we pray that He will surround ### with His peace, strength, and healing presence during this time.
It is clear you love your daughter deeply, and we encourage you to continue placing this burden into the Lord’s hands. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28-30, *“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”* You do not have to carry this anxiety alone—cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We also pray that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit’s comfort and wisdom as you support ### through her surgery and recovery.
The road ahead may seem long, but we take heart in knowing that our God is faithful. The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, *“He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.”* ###’s weakness in this season will be an opportunity for God’s strength to shine through her. We pray that her faith will be strengthened, that she will experience the Lord’s presence in a profound way, and that this trial will be a testimony of His goodness.
We also pray for the medical team performing the surgery—that the Lord will guide their hands with precision and wisdom. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *“Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.”* May every decision made during ###’s procedure be directed by the Lord, and may her recovery be swift and free from complications. We ask that God would surround her with skilled and compassionate caregivers who will treat her with kindness and excellence.
During the nine weeks of recovery, we pray that ### will be patient and steadfast, fixing her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). This time may also be an opportunity for her to draw closer to the Lord through prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word. We encourage her to lean on Scripture for strength, such as Isaiah 41:10: *“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”*
Finally, we pray that this trial will unite your family in faith and trust in the Lord. May you all grow in dependence on Him and see His hand at work in ways you never expected. We ask that He would provide for every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—as ### heals.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her upcoming surgery. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would be with her in that operating room, guiding every cut, every stitch, and every decision made by the medical team. Give them wisdom, steady hands, and discernment. Father, we pray for supernatural healing over ###’s knee—that the surgery would be completely successful and that her recovery would be swift and free from pain or setbacks.
We ask that You would fill ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she prepares for this procedure. Remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen her body, Lord, and let this time of recovery be a season where she experiences Your presence in a deeper way.
Lord, we also lift up ###’s mother, who has brought this request before us. Comfort her heart and remind her that You are in control. Give her the words to encourage ### and the faith to trust You with every detail. Surround this family with Your love and with a community of believers who will support them practically and spiritually.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep in during this time. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that ###’s body will align with Your perfect will for healing and restoration. We thank You, Lord, for Your promises are true, and we trust that You will bring beauty from this trial.
In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
