Support system. It’s lonely over here

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I’m praying for a wise godly support system in Jesus name. I’ve cut contact with all of the people who turned out to be abusers after they used the help that they gave me as leverage to bully and control me. The only one I trust is Jesus Christ. It’s painful to be betrayed. It’s a lonely road Last church I attended the members stood around and did nothing when I was verbally attacked.

We stand with you in this season of loneliness, and we praise God that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ alone—He is the only One who will never betray or abandon you. Your courage in cutting ties with those who abused and manipulated you is commendable, for Scripture warns us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). You have honored God by refusing to remain in harmful relationships, and we pray He heals the deep wounds left by those betrayals. The pain of being abandoned—even by those who claim to be brothers and sisters in Christ—is profound, but Jesus Himself understands this sorrow. He was despised, rejected, and betrayed by those He loved (Isaiah 53:3). Yet He remained faithful, and He will sustain you.

The silence of that church in your time of need is grievous, for the body of Christ is called to *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Their failure does not reflect the heart of God, who sees your tears and hears your cries. We pray the Lord leads you to a biblical, Christ-centered church where the members *actively* love one another, *"stirring one another up to love and good works"* (Hebrews 10:24, WEB). Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment—some congregations may appear godly but lack the courage to stand for truth or defend the vulnerable. Look for a church where the Word is preached boldly, sin is rebuked with love, and the hurting are *protected*, not ignored.

In the meantime, we pray the Lord surrounds you with a *godly* support system—men and women who fear Him, speak truth in love, and will *not* exploit your kindness. *"A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity"* (Proverbs 17:17, WEB). But be cautious: not everyone who claims to be a believer walks in integrity. Test their fruits (Matthew 7:16), and do not rush into deep trust. The Lord may bring seasoned believers into your life—perhaps even through unexpected means—who will walk beside you in this wilderness season.

You are not truly alone, dear saint. Jesus is your *ever-present* help (Psalm 46:1), and He is preparing a table for you *in the presence of your enemies* (Psalm 23:5). Your loneliness is temporary, but His faithfulness is eternal. We pray you find comfort in His presence, strength in His Word, and wisdom as you wait on His timing.

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your beloved child before You, asking that You bind up their broken heart and heal the wounds of betrayal. Lord, You see the loneliness they carry—the ache of being forsaken by those who should have stood with them. But You, O God, have *not* forgotten them. You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8), and You will repay those who have harmed Your lamb.

Father, we ask for divine connections—godly men and women who will *truly* support, encourage, and sharpen this brother/sister in Christ. Remove any counterfeit relationships that would bring more pain, and lead them to a church where Your Word is honored, Your people are bold, and Your love is *demonstrated* in action. Give them discernment to recognize wolves in sheep’s clothing and wisdom to build alliances that glorify You.

Lord, in this season of waiting, deepen their intimacy with You. Let them hear Your voice more clearly than ever before. Remind them that even when people fail, *You* are their refuge and strength. Fill the empty spaces with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). And when the time is right, open doors to godly fellowship that will refresh their soul.

We rebuke the spirit of loneliness and rejection in Jesus’ mighty name. No weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, let them *thrive* in this wilderness, growing stronger in faith, bolder in prayer, and more rooted in Your truth. Prepare them now for the relationships You *will* bring—relationships that reflect Your love and stand firm in righteousness.

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We know it's tough feeling alone, especially when you've had to cut ties with people who hurt you. But remember, God is always with you. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's working things out for your good.

We've been thinking about how important it is to find a church where you can be supported and loved. It's hard to understand why some people claim to follow Jesus but don't act like it. But don't let that discourage you. Keep looking for a place where the Bible is preached, love is shown, and people care for each other. It's out there, and God will lead you to it.

In the meantime, let's pray. Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. We ask that You comfort them in their loneliness, heal their wounds, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You, even when they can't see the way forward. Give them wisdom as they seek a new church home, and protect them from any more harm.

We also pray that You would surround them with godly people who will love and support them. Help them to discern who to trust and who to keep at a distance. And Lord, please, please, send them a sign, a nudge, a whisper of Your voice, to let them know You're right there with them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this deeply painful season of isolation and betrayal. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His love and to raise up a godly support system that reflects His heart for you. We know how heavy the weight of loneliness can feel, especially when those you trusted have turned against you, and when even the body of Christ failed to stand as a refuge in your time of need. The wounds of betrayal cut deeply, and we continue to pray that the Lord would bind up your broken heart, replacing the pain with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has begun to answer your cry for godly community—whether through restored relationships, new connections, or a church that cherishes and protects its members—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him in their own season of waiting. And if this burden still feels heavy, if the loneliness persists, or if the Lord is leading you to seek further prayer, we urge you to post an update. We are here to keep interceding for you, asking the Lord to open doors you never expected and to show Himself faithful in ways you’ve yet to see.

May you sense His presence in the quiet moments, knowing that even when others fail, He never will. May He lead you to a community that reflects His love, wisdom, and protection—a place where you are seen, valued, and uplifted in truth. We are praying that the Lord would restore what the enemy has stolen and that you would experience the depth of His comfort as only He can provide.

We continue to lift you up in Jesus’ name.
