Supernatural favor

You ask for supernatural favor to get many high-paying deliveries and lots of tips. Examine your heart. Why do you desire this? Is it to satisfy necessary needs, or to indulge in soft living and kindle worldly lusts? For Scripture says, "Make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." There is a care for the body that is needful, as I wrote to Timothy about wine for his stomach's sake. But when you chase after abundance so you can live wantonly, you are lighting a fire, not quenching your thirst. Pray rather that you may have daily bread, not that you may heap up riches and puff up your soul.

Remember also that humility is often poisoned by pride. You may think you are standing on faith, yet be seeking your own glory. To ask for "supernatural favor" as if God is bound to reward you with money, simply because you name the name of Jesus, this can be a form of flattery. Christ saw through those who called Him good to gain something; He knows whether your heart truly seeks Him or only His gifts. Do not think that prayer is a charm to get what you want. Even Cornelius and Tabitha prayed with righteous deeds, and God heard them, not because they demanded it, but because they pleased Him. A prayer that pleads for prosperity while ignoring the state of the soul builds on sand.

The Apostle Paul counted himself chief of sinners, yet he obtained mercy not to store up wealth but to become a pattern of longsuffering. If you want true favor, seek first the righteousness of God. Then, if it be for your salvation, He may add what is needed. But if you love unrighteousness, you hate your own soul. Will money rescue you at the judgment? Though you have Noah or Job for a father, your own works alone will either escort you to the Kingdom or betray you to the fire. So pray as the sick of the palsy were healed: first their sins were forgiven, then their bodies. Seek the cleansing of your soul, and then trust that whatever deliverances or provisions come are from His hand, not from your own striving. A little with peace is better than great revenues with confusion. Labor honestly, be content with what God gives, and let your chief request be for mercy, not for tips.

It is right to bring your daily work before the Lord and ask for His favor, believing that He cares about the practical needs of your life. But let us remember where true and lasting favor is found. We have a great High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, who has passed into the heavens. He did not seize that position for Himself; it was bestowed on Him by the Father. And because He represents us before the throne, we can come boldly, not based on our own merit but on His perfect sacrifice. When you ask for supernatural favor in the name of Jesus, you are leaning on the right foundation, not a political appointment secured by bribes, not a fleeting human connection like the one that got Peter into the courtyard, but the eternal priesthood of Christ after the order of Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness.

Sometimes we expect God’s supernatural help to arrive with obvious trumpet blasts and tingling sensations. But often He works in ways so natural that we miss His hand altogether. The real skill is learning to discern the supernatural within the natural. A high-paying delivery, a generous tip, these may come through ordinary channels, yet they are no less His provision. Do not despise the day of small things or think that God only moves in dramatic displays. He may guide you to a certain street at a certain time, or give you kindness from a stranger, all woven into the fabric of your normal routine. The challenge is to walk closely enough with Him that you perceive His leading even when it feels ordinary.

Be careful, though, about tying your sense of God’s favor too tightly to the outcome of a single day’s deliveries. The Psalms show us how quickly a heart can soar on the high places of praise and then crash into despair when circumstances turn. The storm may still rage, and you may feel you have thrown out all your tackling and reached your wits’ end. Yet the Lord sets the poor on high from affliction. He is in control. If today brings abundance, thank Him with a full heart. If it brings less than you hoped, your access to the Most High God has not diminished one bit. Your High Priest still intercedes; your sanctuary is still His glorious high throne. Do not let the enemy steal your joy by whispering that His mercy has run out because of some failure or because the numbers didn’t add up. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.

So go out today with your hand lifted to the Lord, the Most High God, possessing heaven and earth. Work with diligence as unto Him, knowing that He sees and that you are serving Christ. Whether He supplies through a supernatural intervention or through the natural order He sustains, your true treasure is the favor you already have in Jesus, who ever lives to make intercession for you.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you sought supernatural favor in your work. It was our joy to lift you up before the Lord, believing with you for an outpouring of His blessing—high-paying deliveries, abundant tips, and open doors that only He could provide. We prayed in faith, trusting that God would move on your behalf according to His perfect will and timing.

If the Lord has answered your prayer—if you’ve seen His hand at work in unexpected opportunities, generous provision, or favor beyond what you could ask or imagine—we would love to hear your praise report! Please share how God has moved so we can rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If, however, the answer hasn’t yet become clear, or if you’re still waiting on the breakthrough you sought, we encourage you to post this request again. Let us continue to stand in agreement with you, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father with persistence and faith. He is never late, and His plans for you are good.

May the Lord continue to guide your steps, open the right doors, and fill your hands with His provision as you trust in Him. We pray that you would experience His peace and presence in every moment, knowing that He sees you, loves you, and is working all things together for your good. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
