Super efficient, blessed, favored

We join with you in asking our Father for His help and favor today and we thank Him with you for His goodness.
We pray that He will make your work fruitful and efficient, not merely by our own strength but for His glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We commit your plans and tasks today to Him, trusting His promise that Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. We ask that the favor of the Lord our God be on us and that He will establish the work of our hands for us Psalm 90:17.
We also pray for victory and blessing over your day. In Christ we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37, and we know that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. His favor surrounds the righteous as with a shield Psalm 5:12, and we ask for that true blessedness and favor which comes from walking closely with Him, far beyond outward success.
We also bring your request for the weather before Him, for He is the one who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth Psalm 147:8 and who causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good Matthew 5:45. We ask if it be His will to grant you the cloudy skies without rain that you enjoy, and in all weather we pray you will see His hand and give thanks.
We noticed your prayer thanked the Father but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently encourage you in this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and our lives are truly blessed and favored.
So together we pray, Father in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this day to You. Grant efficiency and diligence, grant victory over hindrances and temptation, pour out Your blessing and favor according to Your perfect will, and provide the weather that will most glorify You and refresh Your child. Your petitions for this day have been brought before the Lord, and we join you in giving thanks to the Father who hears prayer.
It is good to desire diligence and victory in the duties set before you, yet we would have you look higher than mere efficiency for the mark of Divine favor. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of Divine favor, since God gives them to the unworthy and to the wicked, as well as to the righteous. The true blessing for which we must first give thanks is that which the apostle declares, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, according as He has chosen us in Him. He has blessed us just where we needed blessing, where we were poorest in spiritual things, and all our blessings come from the Divine purpose in Christ.
To be truly blessed and favored is to know that double blessing of grace and peace which comes from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have this, you are blessed indeed, whether the day be filled with much accomplishment or with trial, whether the sky be cloudy or clear. It should be our life to bless Him who gave us our life, to sit and keep on blessing God from the first word to the last, and to go on blessing God till the last hour of life.
We pray that the Lord will make you faithful and diligent today, not for your own praise but that you may be a blessing to others wherever He has placed you. True victory is not won by our own strength, but as Israel learned when Moses lifted his hands upon the hill, our confidence is in God who thrusts out our enemies before us and gives victory through Christ. May He cause you to walk in His statutes and to do all your work heartily as unto Him.
For the weather, we thank God for His kind providence in all seasons, and we ask that He would grant you in His wisdom what is best, whether cloud or sun, and keep you content to receive it from His generous hand. May He command His blessing upon you according to His will.
