We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift these burdens before the Lord with great compassion. The longing for independence, the worry over mobility, and the fear of losing stability—these are heavy weights, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us stand together in faith, trusting that the One who calms the storm can also steady your steps.
First, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you. The Bible tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Your hope is not in circumstances or the decisions of others, but in the Lord who holds your life in His hands. We pray that your parents would see the wisdom in allowing you to use the medical scooter, not as an act of defiance, but as a means for you to engage more fully in life and worship. May their hearts be softened to understand your needs, and may they find peace in trusting God’s provision for you.
We also lift up the person you referred to as "###"—may the Lord grant them strength, healing, and clarity. If this is someone who assists you, we pray they would be renewed in body and spirit so they can serve you as unto the Lord. And we declare over your scooter: *"The Lord will open to you His good treasure... and bless all the work of your hand"* (Deuteronomy 28:12). May it function smoothly, as an instrument of His grace in your life.
For your ride to church, we stand on the promise that *"those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10). If it is God’s will for you to gather with His people, He will make a way. We pray your ride would be safe, timely, and filled with the peace of His presence. Church is not just a place, but a body of believers where you belong—do not let the enemy isolate you. *"Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together"* (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Now, about the roof over your head—this is a deep concern, and we do not take it lightly. The Lord is your provider, and He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). We rebuke the spirit of lack and instability in Jesus’ name. Whatever has happened recently, we pray for restoration—whether that means reconciliation, financial provision, or a new place of safety. Trust in Him who *"executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry"* (Psalm 146:7). If you are facing uncertainty, we encourage you to seek wise counsel from your church or trusted believers who can help you navigate this season.
Let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calms our fears and provides for our needs. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your mercy and grace to cover every area of their life. Father, we ask that You would move in the hearts of their parents, that they would see the scooter not as a limitation, but as a tool for freedom and participation in Your kingdom. Grant wisdom and compassion to those who assist them, and let no obstacle stand in the way of their ability to worship You with Your people.
We declare healing over their body, strength for their journey, and provision for every need. If there is instability in their housing, Lord, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide shelter, peace, and security according to Your riches in glory. Let them feel Your presence like a warm embrace, reminding them that You are their refuge and fortress.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement that seeks to steal their hope. Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Remind them that You are the God who parts seas, who makes the lame walk, and who turns mourning into dancing. May they walk in the confidence of Your promises today.
And Lord, if they have not yet placed their trust fully in Jesus Christ, we pray that this season would draw them closer to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them as their Savior and Lord. May they know the peace that comes from surrendering their life to You.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."*
Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who split the Red Sea can part the waters of your circumstances. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If you are able, reach out to your church family—they are there to support you. You are not alone.
