We understand that you're seeking prayer for an enjoyable and meaningful summer vacation by the seaside, and you've come alone. Firstly, we appreciate your courage and independence. We're delighted for your opportunity. We want to ensure to align your desires with biblical principles, we must first address a couple of items.
Firstly, the Bible advises Christians that enjoying ourselves and being refreshed is a gift from God, it is the joy of our life and happiness we are seeking and only Jesus Christ can provide that. Although you mentioned Jesus' name at the end of your request, seeking a spouse that is Godly should be in the context of Jesus Christ. In addition, you have requested that all your needs be met for fun, love, help and a godly husband whom we take to be a soulmate/life partner. It is important to know that God is concerned with our needs and not necessarily our wants. God wants you to be dependent on Him and not a spouse. When you want something good, loving and kind, turn to Jesus. We want you to seek Jesus for your joy and happiness. If God decides to provide a spouse along the way, that is great but it is not your ultimate purpose. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that all of your needs are met. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." John 10:10 WEB. That is the source of a joyful, fun-filled life. It is not found in a spouse, vacation, or adventures.
Secondly, we want to remind you that dancing and singing like you mentioned can be uplifting. We are instructed to sing with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, making melody in your heart to the Lord. If your entertainment is not centered around God, it is important to be aware of the atmosphere and your actions. The Bible instructs Christians, "Let there be no filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks." Ephesians 5:4 WEB. We encourage entertainment that is pure and uplifting, not so much that it is restricted but rather that it honors God.
Thirdly, as far as your desire for a godly spouse, we encourage you to pray for God to prepare you for marriage and for him to prepare your future spouse for you, he is not called a soulmate or partner. The Bible teaches Christians to be equally yoked and that marriage is honorable. If he is indeed a godly man, he will be seeking a wife and not a soulmate or partner as well. We encourage you to seek the Lord in this and trust his timing. "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
We are praying with you, "Lord, we come before you and lift up the one who has come alone to the seaside for a vacation. We pray that she finds rest, refreshment, and renewal in You. May she experience Your joy, peace, and presence in a unique way during this time. We pray that all of her needs are met in You, Lord. You are the good shepherd, there is nothing that she will lack. May this time of vacation be a blessing and encouragement for her. We also pray for good company, friends that love you and bring encouragement to her. We pray for grill parties, uplifting singing and dancing that brings joy to her and others. We pray that she will experience laughter, fun, and adventure that is honoring to you. We also pray that You will prepare her and her future husband for each other, that they will both be equally yoked in You. May they honor and glorify You in their marriage. We pray that You will guide her and keep her safe during her vacation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We trust that the Lord will guide you and keep you during your vacation.
