We lift up this precious little companion to our Heavenly Father, who cares for every creature He has made, for we know that not even a sparrow falls without His notice. How much more does He see and love this faithful friend who has brought such joy and comfort? We rejoice with you that the tumor has not grown—this is indeed a mercy from the Lord, and we praise Him for His sustaining hand in this battle. Yet we also bring before Him the concern of the blood in the urine, asking for wisdom for the veterinarians and complete healing by His power. The Scriptures remind us that our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed all things and holds all things together. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Though this may seem small in the eyes of the world, we know that nothing is too small for our Father’s care.
We also gently remind you that while we love and pray for our animals, our ultimate hope and trust must rest in Christ alone. It is through His name—and His name only—that we have access to the throne of grace. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If this little one’s time on earth is drawing to a close, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart, knowing that our Lord collects every tear and walks with us through every valley. *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction"* (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the mercy You’ve shown in halting the growth of this tumor. We ask now for Your healing touch to be upon this little one—restore his body completely, Lord. Give wisdom to those caring for him, and let every cell align with Your perfect design. If it is Your will to extend his days, we thank You for more time with this faithful companion. But above all, we surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your ways are higher than ours. Comfort his owner with Your presence, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted. May this trial draw them closer to You, the source of all hope. We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that our God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB). Keep trusting, keep praying, and may the Lord’s peace guard your heart as you wait on Him.
