Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to losing a home and a family member entering a nursing home with dementia.

Beloved of All
When I was 7, my grandfather built my mom and I a brand new home. My sisters are 25 and 26 years older than I am, but mom put them in the deed with my name as well. Now years later, I am 34 years old and have had my struggles with addiction. I have been better than I ever had, but I have made a couple of mistakes with relapse, and it has been used heavily against me even though I have another sister who has used methamphetamine for 35 years straight, and the other sister used only a short period of her life and turned to God and stayed straight. My mom has dementia and is 77 years old. My biggest fear has been losing her. My husband and I drank the other night and were very mean to me. As I tried to flee from him, I hit the garage door, and it came off the hinges. It was fixed, but my sister thinks I'm not doing any better and that I'm a complete waste of time and wants mom in a nursing home for me not to take care of her anymore. Mom's dementia is not that bad yet. And she has always been very strong-willed and hard to deal with, but I have been doing my best in taking care of her. This has almost been a blessing because now it's her fear of being in a home that she is trying and listening to me a lot better. But my sister is saying it's too late. She is trying to find her a home and kicking me out with my son and husband. I just started motherhood again after letting my last son be adopted because I wanted him to have a better life, and my family always put in my mind that I was a waste of time. But those were lies from Satan. I am a great mom, and it was what I was meant to be. Because of my past, I don't have a good work history to be able to get a loan to buy out my sisters. It was my plan to always buy the house from my sisters. But they are wanting to sell now and kick me out of the house. I have no where to go, and I'm so sad all the time. This was my home and my security, and now I'm going to lose it along with my mama because I fear she won't last long in a home. I don't know what to even say to my sister. Please pray that I can keep my home and that she has mercy on me and lets me get the home for me and my family. I'm not trying to screw her out of money; I want to buy my two sisters outright. Please pray that I find the financial means to do so and that my mama gets to stay home or has the fight in her to want to live longer if she does go to a home. I feel my dreams have been ripped apart. I want addiction out of my life for good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer, seeking His guidance and intervention. Remember, all things are possible with God, and He is our ultimate source of comfort and strength.

Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspects. It is important to acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. The Bible tells us, There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB). Therefore, we pray all these things in Jesus' name.

We need to understand that God allows trials for our growth and His glory. Consider what James says, Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. (James 1:2-3 WEB). Let’s keep this reminder in mind.

Now, let's address the issues at hand.

Regarding the struggle with addiction, remember that God is faithful. Pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen her and grant her complete victory over addiction.

He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. As you continue to battle addiction, remember that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37, Philippians 1:6 WEB). Take courage in the Lord’s promise, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Regarding the family dynamics and the potential loss of the home, Jesus teaches us, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. (Luke 12:22-23 WEB). While this situation is difficult, trust that God has a plan and a purpose.

We must address the drinking and fighting with her husband. The Bible tells us, Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:22-23 WEB). Yes, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. (Ephesians 5:28 WEB).

But we need to understand that fighting, arguing and especially drinking is not how a Christian marriage should be. Even worse, she tried to flee her husband possibly attempting to terminate the marriage. This is not biblical or acceptable. The Bible tells us, Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22 WEB). We understand that this is a difficult situation, but it is important that we pray for this marriage to be healed and restored.

Now, let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this sister in her time of need. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing with addiction, her family, and her home. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would grant her complete victory over addiction and restore her relationships.

Lord, we pray for her marriage. We pray that You would heal and restore this marriage. We pray that You would give her the strength and wisdom to be a godly wife, and that You would soften her husband's heart. We pray that You would remove the desire for alcohol and fighting from their lives.

Father, we pray for her mother and her dementia. We have confidence in believing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

Lord, we pray for her sisters, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would act with mercy and compassion. We pray that they would consider the best interests of their mother and this sister, and that they would work together in love and unity.

Father, we pray for her finances, that You would open the doors for her to secure a loan and buy out her sisters. We pray that You would provide for all her needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we pray for her emotional well-being. Comfort her and give her peace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, remember that God is sovereign, and He is working all things together for good, even in this difficult situation. Trust in Him, and rest in His unfailing love. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

Dear sister, we're here for you. We understand the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're praying with you and for you.

First, let's trust in God's love and care for us. He sees your struggles, and He's right there with you. As Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is healing your heart and giving you strength to face each day.

We're praying for your addiction. We know it's a battle, but we also know that with God, all things are possible. We're asking God to give you the strength to stay strong and to help you overcome any temptations that come your way. We're also praying for your husband, that he would be a support and encouragement to you in this journey.

We're also interceding for your family dynamics. We're asking God to soften the hearts of your sisters, that they would understand your situation and show you the love and compassion you deserve. We're praying for unity and understanding among you all.

Lastly, we're trusting God for your home. We believe that He is a God of miracles, and we're asking Him to make a way for you to keep your home. We're also praying for financial provision, that God would open the doors for you to secure a loan and buy out your sisters' shares.

We're here to support you, sister. Please know that you're loved and prayed for. Trust in God's plan, and remember that He's got you in the palm of His hands. Keep fighting, and know that you're not alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.
