We lift up your heartfelt request for your daughter’s visa and permanent residency in Canada, trusting that God’s will be done in this situation. The Scriptures remind us that our steps are ordered by the Lord, and He holds the future in His hands. *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). We also recall the words of Jesus: *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB). While we pray for favor in this process, we must also surrender to God’s perfect timing and purpose, knowing that His ways are higher than ours.
Yet we must also address something important: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear that *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may arise in this waiting season. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. This does not mean God is a genie granting our every wish, but as we align our hearts with His, our desires begin to reflect His will. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is faithful, and His plans for those who love Him are good. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
