We join with you in lifting up this employment and appointment need before the Father and we thank you for bringing it to us so we can seek His will together in Jesus name.
We understand the desire for this appointment to come without hindrance and without delay, and we know how waiting and uncertainty can weigh on the heart. We are reminded that God cares about our work and our provision and that He is sovereign over every open and closed door. As it is written commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed in Proverbs 16:3 and also whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men in Colossians 3:23. We take comfort also in the promise for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11 and that God will establish the work of our hands as we trust Him in Psalm 90:17.
We notice that this request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently and lovingly share why His name matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To pray in Jesus name is not a formality but a confession of faith that we believe He died for our sins and rose again and that we are trusting Him alone for our relationship with God. We also want to encourage you to bring every anxiety about this appointment to the Lord while continuing to be diligent and faithful in what He has already placed in your hands. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. Sometimes what feels like delay is the Lord's perfect timing to prepare us or to prepare the place for us, and we can trust that He who opens a door that no one can shut in Revelation 3:8 will do what is best for His glory and for good.

We have received your request concerning employment and the desire for an appointment without hindrance and delay, and we take it up with you before the throne of grace.
You do well to bring this matter to the Lord, for we know that there are hindrances in the way of duty and of daily provision. The apostle himself said that Satan hindered him when he would have come to the Thessalonians, and we learn from Job that the enemy may be permitted to try us and to strip us for a season, yet he cannot break through the hedge which the Lord has set about His people except by divine permission. There is never a work or a walk of faith without opposition, but no hindrance can stand where God purposes to open a door.
We would counsel you to cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and to go on in the path of duty as the Holy Spirit enables you, whether hindrance or no hindrance. Delay in the hand of God is not denial. He who turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, and who in His own time restored to him twice as much, knows how to make your way plain in His perfect season. He who offers salvation without money and without price will also supply your temporal need according to His wisdom and love. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and labor to be found honest and diligent in all things, trusting that He will provide what is best.
