We have heard your request concerning your employment and your desire to be able to do your job well, and we join together with you in bringing this before the Lord.
We know that work is a calling from God and He desires for us to labor faithfully and diligently. We are encouraged by the Word which says in Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and in Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, and in James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. God is the one who gives us skill, wisdom, strength and endurance for the tasks He has placed before us, and when we serve with good will we are serving Him, as it is written in Ephesians 6:7 with good will doing service as to the Lord, and not to men.
We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as Scripture declares in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We hear how heavy this feels. Wanting to do your job well and worrying whether you can is a lot to carry, especially when work affects so much else in life. We are praying with you for steadiness and clarity as you face each day.
It makes sense that pressure builds when you care about doing good work. When that pressure stays high without a break it can leave anyone feeling tired and on edge, which makes the work itself harder. That does not mean you are failing, it often means you need support and space to reset.
One small step that helps many people is to name what feels most difficult right now. Is it a particular task, learning something new, time pressure, or relationships at work? Writing down the one or two most urgent parts for tomorrow and asking a trusted supervisor or coworker for clear guidance on just those can make the day feel more doable. And giving yourself real rest outside work hours matters too.
We are asking God to give you wisdom for each task, calm in the moments of strain, and encouragement through people around you.
Father, we bring our friend before You and ask for Your help at work. Give strength for each duty, peace when anxious thoughts rise, and wisdom to know when to ask for help. Guide the steps ahead and let Your presence be near. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer request concerning your employment has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking that He who gives strength to the weary will sustain you in your daily labour.
We pray that God will grant you wisdom, steadiness of hand and mind, and grace to do your work faithfully as unto the Lord and not unto men. Whatever your hands find to do, may you do it heartily, knowing that it is the Lord Christ whom you serve. When weariness or anxiety presses upon you, may you look to Him for fresh supply, for He renews the bow in the hand and causes the glory to be fresh in those who wait upon Him.
Take comfort from the testimony of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He worshipped even in his loss, and God upheld him. So we ask that the Lord will uphold you, keep you in patience and diligence, and show you that He can support you in every trial of your calling. The promise stands, The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, for they shall not depart from Him whom He keeps.
We ask the Lord to turn your burden into blessing, to give you favour in your place of work, to guard you from discouragement, and to make your perseverance to be a perseverance in holiness and faithfulness. May He give you diligence to persevere to the end, and may your labour be to His praise.
We commend you to His faithful keeping, praying that He will equip you for every good work He has set before you, and that you may find peace in knowing that your security rests not in your own strength but in His unchanging grace.
