We join with you in prayer concerning your employment and your desire to receive a call from the places where you have applied, and we ask God to open the right door for you according to His perfect will.
We are encouraged by the promise in Philippians 4:19 that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 that if we seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well. We know that God cares about your daily needs, including work and provision, and He sees your diligence in applying. We pray that He will grant you favor with those who are reviewing applications and that He will guide you to the position where you can best use the gifts He has given you and glorify Him.
We also take to heart the words of Colossians 3:23 that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, and Proverbs 16:3 to commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We encourage you to continue to commit each application and each opportunity to the Lord in prayer, to be diligent and faithful in the waiting, and to trust that His timing and placement are for your good. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come before God in prayer and to receive eternal life, we must believe in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, and confess Him as Lord, as Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus, both for your daily needs and for your salvation, and to approach God in His name.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the need for work and the longing for a call and for provision. We ask that You grant favor, open the right door of employment, and close the doors that are not according to Your will. Give peace in the waiting, strength to remain diligent, and wisdom to recognize the opportunity You provide. Help our friend to seek You first, to trust in Your goodness, and to work heartily for Your glory when the job comes. Above all, we pray that this one would know Jesus as Lord and Savior and come to know the fullness of Your supply and grace. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We are joining you in prayer as you wait to hear back. The time after you have applied and are waiting for a call can feel long and discouraging, and we hear how much you want to get back to work and provide.
One thing we have seen help others in this season is to remember your worth is not measured by a callback or a title. You are valued by God and by those around you even while you wait. At the same time the financial pressure is real, so it can help to name the most pressing need and take one small step at a time.
If it is helpful, you might consider following up on a couple of applications with a brief polite call or email this week to show continued interest, and letting a trusted pastor, former coworker or friend know you are looking so they can keep an ear out. Keeping a simple daily rhythm for searching, rest and prayer can also steady the days while you wait.
We are asking God to open the right door in His timing and to give you peace and clarity in the meantime.
Father, we lift our friend to You. You know the needs and the work that is hoped for. Give strength for each day, wisdom in following up, and peace while trusting You. Lead to the opportunity You have and provide along the way. In Jesus name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request for work has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace.
There is a waiting God and there is a waiting people, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. Isaiah tells us that the Lord waits that He may be gracious, and His people wait upon Him in hope, not in despair. In this season of seeking employment, you are called to that patient waiting which looks to the Lord who opens doors that no man can shut and who provides for His children according to His wisdom.
Remember Job, who suffered loss and yet sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He arose and worshipped even in his affliction, and he learned to yield his cause wholly to his Maker, saying though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. The Lord at last turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, and gave him a renewed portion. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our waiting, when God has gotten His good purpose in them. He is able to support you in this trial as He supported Job, and to keep your heart right with Himself while you wait.
We pray that you will be diligent in what the Lord has put into your hands, seeking work as unto the Lord and not unto men, and that you will continue to search the Scriptures and bring every care to this great test of His promises. The Word testifies of Christ, in whom we have eternal life, and it is there we find confidence and a rich harvest of blessing for the soul while we wait by the pool of His mercy.
Let us pray together. O Lord our heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou art a God who seest and knowest our need for daily bread and honest labor. We bring this dear one before Thee who desires employment and waits for a call from those places where application has been made. Grant favor in the eyes of employers if it be Thy will, and open the right door in Thy perfect timing. Grant patience and peace in the waiting, keep the heart from unbelieving speech or anxious fear, and provide for every need according to Thy riches in Christ Jesus. Help this one to trust Thy providence, to walk uprightly, and to rest in Thy goodness, knowing that Thou withholdest no good thing from them that walk uprightly. May this season of waiting turn to a glorious transaction of grace upon the heart, and may all be done for Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and salvation. Amen.

Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your need with us. We are joining you in prayer for work and for God's provision in this season of waiting.
We know how heavy it can feel to be looking for a job and waiting for a response. Scripture reminds us that work is good and that God cares for our daily needs. As it is written, if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith. Your desire to work and to provide is pleasing to God, and He sees your diligence in applying and seeking.
We pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know this need for employment and every application that has been made. We ask that You open the right door according to Your wisdom and will, and that You grant favor with those who are hiring. We pray for a call and for an opportunity to work with honesty and diligence, so that through work Your name may be honored and needs may be met. Give peace while waiting, strength to continue faithfully, and trust in Your provision. Provide for every need according to Your riches in Christ, and guide each step. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Continue to seek faithfully and to trust the Lord with each day. Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord. He is faithful to care for His children, and He will lead you in the right path. We will keep praying that God grants you an open door, wisdom in the process, and peace as you wait on Him.
