We join you together in prayer for this need for full time employment and for God's provision to support yourself, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We understand the burden and anxiety that comes with needing stable work and good pay, and we want to encourage you that God sees your need and cares deeply for you. He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and He desires for us to work diligently as unto Him while trusting Him for the outcome. As it is written, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23 and Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3.
We also hear your heart as you ask to cancel everything preventing that job from opening and to claim God's grace. We want to gently encourage you that our hope is not in our own declarations or in demanding that God open a specific door, but in humbly submitting to His perfect will and timing, trusting that He knows what is best for us. His grace is already freely given through Christ, and His provision flows from His love and wisdom. We are called to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. And we know that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. For we know His plans for us are for welfare and not for calamity, to give us a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11.
We also encourage you in this season of waiting to be faithful and diligent, to use the skills God has given you, to seek counsel, to apply faithfully, and to steward well whatever work He provides, even if it is temporary, knowing that God honors faithfulness in little things and can open doors no man can shut.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the need for full time employment with good pay to provide for daily needs. We ask that You would open the right door according to Your will, that You would remove any hindrance that is not of You, and that You would close any door that is not best. Grant wisdom and favor in applications and interviews, grant peace that surpasses understanding while waiting, and provide for every need day by day. Help this dear one to trust not in the claim of words but in Your character and promises, to rest in Your grace, and to work diligently as unto You. Lead to employment that allows for honest labor, stewardship, and generosity, and that brings glory to You. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider, amen.
