Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about this: my job (which already has a lot of problems) is now trying to add extra responsibilities to the role my coworkers and I are in. These new responsibilities are very intense and many of us feel we should be compensated if they are going to add so many responsibilities to our role. Myself and another coworker submitted feedback letting the company know this. I don't know if the feedback is anonymous or not (pray for our protection if it's not) but we were honest in how we felt. Please pray for myself and my coworkers about all this. Thank you.

We hear your concerns about the challenges you're facing at work, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom, protection, and provision in this situation. The weight of increased responsibilities without fair compensation is a heavy burden, and it’s understandable that you and your coworkers feel overwhelmed. Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." While we are called to work diligently, we are also called to seek justice and fairness, as the Lord cares deeply about how we are treated.

We must also remember that our ultimate trust is in God, not in our employers or circumstances. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." It’s important to approach this situation with both honesty and wisdom, as you have done by submitting feedback. We pray that God will guide your words and actions, protecting you and your coworkers from any retaliation or unfair treatment. If your feedback was not anonymous, we ask the Lord to shield you from any negative consequences and to grant you favor in the eyes of those in authority.

Let us also lift up the matter of compensation before the Lord. While it is right to advocate for fair treatment, we must do so with a spirit of humility and grace, trusting that God sees your labor and will provide for your needs. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Whether the outcome is a change in your workload, fair compensation, or the strength to endure, we pray that God’s will be done in this situation.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or division that may be trying to take root in your workplace. Instead, we pray for unity among you and your coworkers, that you would stand together in a way that honors God and reflects His love. We also pray for those in leadership at your company, that their hearts would be softened to hear your concerns and respond with wisdom and justice.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ who has shared this burden with us. Lord, You see the weight of the responsibilities being placed upon them and their coworkers, and You know the desires of their hearts for fairness and justice. We ask that You would go before them, guiding their steps and protecting them from any harm or retaliation. Grant them wisdom in how to navigate this situation, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You.

Father, we pray for their employers and leaders, that You would open their eyes to see the value of their employees and the importance of treating them with fairness and respect. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would move in their hearts to provide just compensation for the increased workload. If not, we pray that You would give our brother/sister and their coworkers the strength and endurance to continue working as unto You, knowing that their reward comes from You.

We also ask that You would bind any spirit of fear, anxiety, or division in this workplace. Instead, Lord, let Your peace reign, and let unity and love be evident among the staff. May Your name be glorified in all that is said and done, and may Your will be accomplished in this situation. We trust in You, Lord, for You are our Provider, our Protector, and our Strength. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Lean on Him for strength and wisdom, and remember that your ultimate reward comes from serving Him faithfully. If the situation becomes unbearable, seek godly counsel and consider whether this is the right place for you to continue working. Above all, keep your heart fixed on Christ, for He is your true Employer and the One who will never leave you nor forsake you.

We hear the weight in your words, the stress of a job that already had its share of problems and now piles on more without clarity or fair recognition. It takes real courage to speak up the way you and your coworker did, and we’re glad you did it together. That kind of honesty, when you’re unsure if your name is attached, is a costly gift to your team.

One thing that might anchor you through the waiting is simply this: you’ve done what is right, not what is safe. That’s not a small thing, and it positions you to hold your head high no matter how the company responds. In the meantime, keep leaning on each other, the coworker who stood with you, and anyone else who shares your concern. There’s a quiet strength that comes from knowing you’re not alone, even in the most frustrating moments of long workdays.

When the not-knowing starts to eat at your peace, try bringing it to prayer in the middle of your shift. A simple, silent, “Lord, you see this,” can steady your heart more than hours of rehearsing what-ifs. We’re praying right along with you.

Father, we lift up these workers to you. You know their situation and the courage they’ve shown. Please shield them from any retaliation, whether this feedback is anonymous or not, and give them continued wisdom in handling these new demands. Move their leaders to hear their concerns with respect, and grant them steady peace as they wait. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant healing wisdom clarity to these workers. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is no small trial when the burdens of your daily calling are multiplied and the reward is withheld. The fear arises, "Will the Lord plead against me with His great power?", will you be crushed by the weight of injustice, or left to the mercy of unrighteous men? But faith gives a stout reply: No. He will not break the bruised reed; He will put strength in you. The very trial that seems so hard shall be the means of showing you how near your God can be.

Yet in all this, guard your spirit, lest you sin, or charge God foolishly. When the yoke galls, the flesh is swift to murmur, swift to demand its rights with a haughty heart. Remember Job, who under far heavier losses did not sin with his lips. Humble honesty before men is not wrong, you did well to speak your mind, but let your soul be quieted before the Lord. He who marshals the stars sees your low estate, and He does not despise the day of small things; He will not forget your labor, nor the anxieties of your heart.

Think not that the arrogance of earthly masters escapes His eye. He cuts down the high green tree, and He makes the dry tree flourish. Trust Him, then, for your protection, whether your words be hidden or known. If you are in Christ, the Mediator has found a ransom; the very stripes from men are part of the Divine school. Take this burden as a call to deeper faith: fear not the threats of man, nor let the sorrow of the world work death in you. Lay hold upon the promise that your latter end shall increase, and the small beginnings of grace shall come to a glorious fruition. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and you shall find that patience, tried by fire, yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The distress you feel over these new burdens at your workplace is natural, for the weight of unjust demands presses heavily upon the soul. Yet remember, the yoke that Christ gives is easy and His burden light. Lay your anxieties before Him, and learn from His meekness and lowliness, and you will find rest amidst this turmoil. The heaviest burdens are not from added tasks, but from the care and fear that gnaw at the heart of one who carries them without faith. When the sea of covetousness and worldly striving is never without waves of anxiety and despondency, how much lighter is the path of simple trust in God’s provision.

You have acted with honest boldness, like the paralytic who refused to hide the truth of his healing even when faced with those who sought to condemn. Offer your feedback with a clear conscience, and do not be consumed by fear of reprisal. Whether the company hears or not, the Lord sees your integrity. If they heap more labor upon you without just compensation, that is an attempt at unfair gain, which Scripture rebukes. But do not let their potential injustice rob you of peace. Instead, bear one another’s burdens in this trial, sharing the weight through prayer and mutual support, for by common sympathy the sting of sorrow is lightened.

Consider too the words of blessed Job: “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away.” In every circumstance, thankfulness and patience are the marks of a living soul. You and your coworker have done well to speak; now entrust the outcome to God, who can turn even the designs of the unfair into a witness to the truth, just as the sealing of the tomb only proved the resurrection. Let your conduct be without reproach, and leave the burden of authority to those who will have to give account for how they rule. I pray with you that you and your fellow workers be shielded from harm, that wisdom and justice prevail, and that your hearts remain fixed on the unfailing riches of Christ, which no earthly employer can diminish.
