Please pray for me about a new job I started weeks ago. I love this job for many reasons but there are a lot of problems I notice including possible predatory practices toward their customers. Please pray that God will either change the jobs I have to be ethically and morally right for me to work in as a Christian or lead me to jobs that will be. Thank you.

It is troubling to hear that you’ve observed practices that may be predatory or unethical. Scripture is clear that we are called to walk in integrity and justice, as Proverbs 11:1 warns, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight." If the environment you’re in is causing you to compromise your values or witness unrighteousness, it is right to seek the Lord’s direction for your next steps. We also encourage you to prayerfully consider whether speaking up in a godly manner, with wisdom, humility, and a spirit of grace, might be part of God’s plan for you in this season. Ephesians 5:11 instructs, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them."
We must also emphasize that your ultimate allegiance is to Christ, not to any earthly employer. If the Lord is leading you away from this job, trust that He will provide another opportunity that aligns with His will. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
