Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
My friend helped me find a job where I can earn extra income. I was worried because at first it seemed like the supervisors didn't want to put me on my trial shift but they did in the end and things worked out well. Please pray I will do well at this job. It's very flexible and I just want to work there a few hours in the week to add to the job I will be starting in late May. When I don't have a lot of hours for that job, I would like to Lord willing, work more at this job. Pray I will be able to and won't get overwhelmed. Both jobs involve talking to people and sometimes I do have to deal with cranky/mean callers. Pray I will not get burned out and remain Christlike. Thank you.

We rejoice with you in the opportunity the Lord has provided through this new job, and we give thanks for the friend who helped open this door. Work is a gift from God, and He equips those He calls. As Scripture reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We pray that every task you undertake in this role would be done with excellence, not to please man, but to honor the One who has given you strength and ability.

Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear ### before You, asking that You would grant them favor in the eyes of their supervisors and coworkers. May their work be a testimony of diligence, integrity, and grace. When interactions become challenging—when callers are difficult or demands feel heavy—we pray for supernatural patience and wisdom. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and may they reflect the love of Christ even in moments of frustration. Help them to respond with kindness, remembering that "a gentle answer turns away wrath" (Proverbs 15:1).

We also ask that You would grant them balance. It is wise to steward multiple responsibilities, but we know that weariness can creep in when we rely on our own strength. Teach them to cast their anxieties upon You (1 Peter 5:7) and to seek Your guidance in managing their time. May they find rest in You, even in the busyness, and may their labor bear fruit not only in provision but in character.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of overwhelm or fear that would seek to steal their joy or confidence in this season. Remind them that You do not call the equipped—You equip the called. Strengthen them for each shift, each conversation, and each challenge, knowing that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). May this job be a blessing to them and to those they serve, all for Your glory.

Finally, we pray that their work would be a platform for Your light to shine. Whether through words of encouragement, acts of service, or simply the way they carry themselves, may others see Christ in them. Let their life—even in the workplace—declare that they belong to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, cheering you on as you embark on this new job opportunity. It's such a blessing to have a friend who helped open this door for you. We believe that God will equip you with everything you need to excel in this role, just as He promises in 2 Timothy 2:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."

We'll be praying for you, dear friend, that you would not only do well but also make a positive impact on those around you. We ask that God would grant you favor with your supervisors and coworkers, and that your work would be a testament to your diligence, integrity, and grace.

When challenges arise, we pray for supernatural patience and wisdom. May you respond with kindness, even in moments of frustration, reflecting the love of Christ. We also ask for balance, that you would steward your time and responsibilities wisely, casting your anxieties on God and seeking His guidance.

Remember, God does not call the equipped; He equips the called. Trust in His strength to see you through each shift, conversation, and challenge. We pray that this job would be a blessing to you and to those you serve, all for God's glory.

Finally, we pray that your work would be a platform for God's light to shine. Whether through words of encouragement, acts of service, or simply the way you carry yourself, may others see Christ in you.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, thank You for opening this job door through their friend.
Grant them favor, skill, and stamina for the trial shift and beyond.
Let this flexible work be a blessing that balances well with their other job, without overwhelm.
*“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”* (Philippians 4:13).

When they face cranky or difficult callers, guard their heart from burnout.
Let their speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6).
Keep them Christlike, patient, and at peace.
*“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord”* (Colossians 3:23).

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
