Faithful Servant
Please pray for me as I have training for a possible new job today. Training will be for two days and then I believe we're supposed to be able to start earning and working on a third day. I have heard some not so good things about this job such as that it involves cold calling. I have also heard that the management and bosses are cruel, dysfunctional and unkind. Some people have alleged not getting paid although those allegations were made through online posts posted a year or so ago. I'm just moving ahead to see for myself what is true and what is not. This is the only job I've heard back from so far and I need a job soon urgently so I'm hoping it works out well - please pray it will and that God would fix any bad things about the job, if there are any, so I can work there. Please also pray that if things do work out, that I would be good at the job. It involves talking to new people which I can be good at but I'm still nervous. Thank you.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We hear your concerns and lift them up before the Lord, trusting in His provision and guidance. It is understandable to feel anxious about a new job, especially when there are uncertainties and negative reports surrounding it. Remember, the Lord is your provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask Him. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We pray that the Lord would go before you in this training and open doors that no one can shut. May He grant you peace and confidence as you step into this new opportunity, and may He reveal His will clearly to you. If this job is not the right fit, we pray that God would close the door gently and provide another opportunity that aligns with His purpose for your life. If it is His will for you to work there, we pray that He would transform any negative aspects of the workplace, softening the hearts of management and creating a just and fair environment. As Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."

We also pray for your success in this role. May the Lord grant you wisdom, eloquence, and favor as you interact with new people. Remember that the Holy Spirit is with you, and He will guide your words and actions if you lean on Him. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke any spirit of fear or nervousness in the name of Jesus and declare that you will walk in confidence, knowing that the Lord is your strength.

However, we must also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in discerning whether this job is truly aligned with His will for you. While it is important to provide for your needs, we must not ignore red flags or potential injustices, especially if they involve unethical practices such as withholding pay. Proverbs 16:11 says, "Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work." If this workplace operates in dishonesty or cruelty, it may not be the place where God intends for you to labor. We pray that the Lord would give you clarity and courage to make the right decision, even if it means walking away from this opportunity.

Above all, we remind you that your ultimate security is in Christ. He is your provider, your protector, and your peace. Whether this job works out or not, we pray that you would rest in His promises and trust in His timing. As you seek Him first, all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We declare that you are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to direct your steps and fulfill His purpose in your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with this request, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking employment. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs they face. We ask that You would go before them in this training and reveal Your will clearly. If this job is not of You, close the door and open another that aligns with Your purpose. If it is Your will for them to work there, transform the environment, soften hearts, and bring justice where there is injustice.

Grant them wisdom, peace, and confidence as they step into this new opportunity. May they walk in the power of Your Spirit, free from fear and full of Your love. Help them to discern what is right and to have the courage to act accordingly. Provide for their needs, Lord, and remind them that their security is in You alone. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or doubt and declare that You are their provider and protector.

We pray for favor in their interactions with others, that they would be a light in this workplace and reflect Your love and grace. May their words and actions bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our strength and our salvation. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, as you step into this new job training. It's natural to feel a mix of excitement and apprehension, especially with the uncertainty and negative reports swirling around. But remember, God knows your situation and He's got you covered. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We're praying that God would give you a sense of peace and confidence as you start this training. We ask that He would reveal His will clearly to you, guiding your steps and opening doors that no one can shut. If this job isn't the right fit, we trust that God will close the door gently and lead you to another opportunity that aligns with His purpose for your life.

We're also praying for your success in this role. May God grant you wisdom, eloquence, and favor as you interact with new people. We declare that you will walk in confidence, knowing that the Lord is your strength. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

But let's also be wise and discerning. If there are red flags or potential injustices, we pray that God would give you the courage to walk away, even if it means turning down this opportunity. As Proverbs 27:12 says, "The wise see danger and take cover, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty."

Above all, we remind you that your ultimate security is in Christ. He is your provider, your protector, and your peace. Whether this job works out or not, we pray that you would rest in His promises and trust in His timing.

We're standing with you in prayer, friend. Let's trust that God has a plan and purpose in all of this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
