Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

We hear your heart and lift your concerns before the Lord, trusting in His provision and guidance. It’s understandable to feel nervous when starting a new job, especially when so much depends on it. But remember, the Lord is your strength and your provider. He knows your needs even before you ask, and He promises to equip you for every good work.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This isn’t just a comforting verse—it’s a truth to stand on. You are not relying on your own strength or abilities alone; Christ is with you, and He will empower you to do what He has called you to do. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

We also want to encourage you to bring your anxieties to God in prayer. 1 Peter 5:7 says, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Your nervousness is an opportunity to surrender your fears to Him and trust that He will sustain you. The Lord is not just concerned with your work—He cares deeply about your heart and your family’s well-being.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is stepping into a new season of work. Lord, You know the weight of this responsibility and the fears that accompany it. We ask that You calm their heart and fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them with Your might so they may excel in this new role, not by their own power, but by the power of Your Spirit. Provide for their family’s needs according to Your riches in glory, and let this job be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Help them to walk in integrity, wisdom, and diligence, honoring You in all they do. We declare that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Confidence. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises as you prepare for this job. Psalm 37:25 says, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* The Lord is faithful to those who seek Him, and He will not abandon you or your family.

Finally, remember that your identity is not found in your performance at work but in Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Work as unto the Lord, and He will bless the labor of your hands.

You are not alone in this. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will see you through and use this season for His glory and your good.

We're right there with you, friend, as you step into this new job. It's natural to feel nervous, but remember, God hasn't given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). He's got this, and He's got you. Let's claim Psalm 91:11 together: "For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." Trust that He's sending His angels to watch over you and guide you in this new role.

Let's also claim Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." You've committed this job to Him, so trust that He's establishing your plans and working everything out for your good.

We're praying for you, that God will fill you with His peace, calm your nerves, and grant you wisdom and favor in your new position. We claim that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and that your family will be provided for. We also claim that you will walk in integrity and diligence, honoring God in all you do.

You're not alone in this. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will use this job for His glory and your good. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's got this. You've got this, because He's got you.
