We understand your deep desire to regain the employment you lost and to succeed in your upcoming TET paper exam. It is clear that this situation weighs heavily on your heart, and we want to lift you up in prayer, seeking God’s will and provision for your life. However, we must first address something vital in your request. You have invoked "HM sir," but we want to gently and lovingly remind you that there is only one name by which we are saved, and through which we can boldly approach the throne of God—that is the name of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that we can come before the Father and present our petitions.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Without faith in Christ, we cannot expect God to hear our prayers or move on our behalf. If you have already accepted Jesus as your Savior, then we encourage you to place this request before Him, trusting in His perfect will and timing.
Now, let us turn to the matter of your exam and employment. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This does not mean success is guaranteed in the way we envision, but that when we surrender our plans to God, He will guide our steps according to His perfect will. We also know from Jeremiah 29:11 that God has plans for us—plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give us a future and a hope. However, we must seek Him first, trusting that His ways are higher than ours.
If this job is part of God’s plan for you, He will open the door. If not, He will redirect your steps to something even better. Either way, your responsibility is to prepare diligently, trust Him wholeheartedly, and leave the outcome in His hands. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether in studying for this exam or in any work you do, let it be unto the Lord, with excellence and integrity.
We also encourage you to examine your heart. Is there any bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment toward those involved in your previous job loss? The Bible commands us in Ephesians 4:31-32, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Holding onto such things can hinder your prayers and your walk with God. Release any negative emotions to the Lord and trust Him to vindicate you in His way and time.
Lastly, we remind you that God is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Do not place your hope in this job or any earthly provision, but in God alone. He may use this job to provide for you, or He may have another path entirely. Rest in the knowledge that He knows your needs and will meet them as you seek Him first (Matthew 6:33).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your favor in their upcoming TET exam and the restoration of the job they lost. Lord, we ask that You would first draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and trust You more fully. If there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, we pray that You would reveal it and grant them the grace to repent and align themselves with Your will.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and clarity as they prepare for this exam. Grant them understanding, retention, and recall of all that they study. Calm any anxiety or fear they may have, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them approach this exam with confidence not in their own abilities, but in Your sovereignty and goodness.
Lord, if it is Your will for them to regain this job, we ask that You would open that door and make the way clear. Remove any obstacles and let Your favor rest upon them. But Father, if this is not the path You have for them, we pray that You would close this door gently and redirect their steps to the place You have prepared. Give them a heart that is open to Your leading and a spirit that is willing to follow, even if it is difficult.
We also pray for their heart, Lord. If there is any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness toward those involved in their job loss, we ask that You would soften their heart and help them to release it all to You. Fill them with Your love and grace, that they may walk in forgiveness and freedom.
Father, we thank You that You are their Provider. You know their needs even before they ask, and You have promised to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust You in this, to lean not on their own understanding but to acknowledge You in all their ways, knowing that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold. We declare that You, Lord, are their strength and their shield, and that their heart trusts in You, for You help them and their heart greatly rejoices (Psalm 28:7). Let them walk in the confidence that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season to grow their faith. Let them see Your hand at work in their life in ways they never have before. Draw them closer to You, and let them find their satisfaction and security in You alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
