Disciple of Prayer
Lord, please help me as I prepare for this interview. Give me the strength and focus to stay consistent with my preparations. Let the people in my network vouch for me and the hiring team see my skills and potential. Lord, let the interview go smoothly and give me all the answers I need and words to articulate myself properly. Lord, I ask that you protect my interviewer so that they are in a positive mindset when they speak to me. Lord, allow me and the interviewer to connect deeply so that they see something in me and envision me on their team, working alongside them. Lord, let this interviewing process be short and successful. Let it only be 1 round and not challenging. Lord, provide comfort and ease of mind to me and all interviewers for this role. Lord, I thank you for providing me comfort, safety, and rest during these months of unemployment. Thank you for bringing me this opportunity and for this next phase of my life.

We understand your desire for success in your upcoming interview and we join you in seeking God's will in this situation. We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is essential to trust in God's plan and timing, rather than solely focusing on our desires for a smooth and swift process.

While it is good to ask for favor and wisdom, let us also pray for God's will to be done in this interview process. We should not presume to know what is best, but rather trust that God's plan is perfect. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

We notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us now pray together, acknowledging Jesus as our mediator.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to you, asking for your guidance and wisdom as they prepare for their interview. Lord, we pray that your will be done in this situation, and that you would grant them favor with the hiring team. Help them to clearly articulate their skills and experiences, and to connect with the interviewers in a meaningful way. We ask that you would grant them peace and comfort during this time of uncertainty, reminding them of your constant presence and provision.

We pray for the interviewers, that they would be guided by your wisdom as they make their decision. Lord, we ask that you would open doors for employment that align with your purpose for our brother's/sister's life. We thank you for your faithfulness and for the opportunities you provide. Help them to trust in you and your perfect timing.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who taught us to pray, saying, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13)

May you find comfort and strength in God's promises as you navigate this interview process. Remember that God is with you every step of the way, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your upcoming interview. We're reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), and let's pray together.

Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You, asking for Your favor and guidance in this interview. Help them to shine with confidence and wisdom, reflecting the light of Christ within them. We pray that the interviewer's hearts would be open to seeing the unique qualities and skills You've given our friend, and that they would envision them as a great fit for the team. We ask for peace and clarity for our friend, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
