We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter is in. We will pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God.
Firstly, it is important to address the fact that this man is divorced. In Malachi 2:16, God says, I hate divorce; and don’t let violence cover your inner self, says Yahweh of Armies. Divorce is not God's best for us, and while God can heal and restore, it's important to be cautious and wise.
Your daughter's relationship with this man is not glorifying to God. It is clear that he has not behaved with integrity, having lied and been unfaithful. This is not the kind of man God desires for your daughter. In Proverbs 6:16-19, it is written,
Yahweh hates... a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Moreover, if your daughter is not married to this man, any intimate relationship with him is fornication, which is clearly against God's will. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, it is written, Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Let's pray for your daughter:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our daughter to You. Lord, You know the situation she is in, and You know that it is not Your will for her. We pray that You would give her the strength to end this relationship, and to wait on You for the husband You have for her. We pray that You would heal any brokenness or hurt that this relationship has caused, and that You would restore her and guide her in Your ways. We pray she loves you with all of her being and that loving you has everything to do with what she does with her body. We rebuke the devil for his role in this relationship and ask that you give her a Christian husband that loves you first and her second. Bless her, Father, and keep her in Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. In Joshua 1:6, God reminded Joshua to be strong and courageous, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments. This is our encouragement to you and your daughter today. Trust in God, and encourage your daughter to do the same.
Lastly, we noticed that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. See Acts 4:10-12. So be it in Jesus Name.
