My ex-fiancée took my eleven-month-old daughter away from me through false allegations he had been planning for two years while we were together. The judge gave her to him without ever meeting me. I have had two attorneys who took all the money my family had and made the situation worse. It has been over a year and I have never had one chance in court. I feel my ex is truly evil. He is torturing my daughter by keeping her from me and her brother. She is only two and she has panic attacks, and is tormented by being away from me. I only see her four hours a month. CPS said I was a good mother, but will not go to court for me. My ex goes to court and lies, even said I do things he has actually done, and I have no way to prove otherwise. I am broke, I overheard him outside the courtroom say he thought I might become homeless and that would help him win his case. He has abused me. He tried to strangle me. He tried to mess up my bills so I would have late fees. He rationed my food when I was pregnant; he does not take good care of our daughter. She has infections and cuts; they bite off her nails and take care of her poorly in every aspect. He told CPS he wanted me to kill myself. I fired my last attorney; now I am my own attorney. Legal aid will not take my case or give me advice on how to proceed. I look at the paperwork I need to fill out and I'm confused, and I feel like I'm letting her down. My ex wants to take her to another country where I would never see her again and the judge doesn't believe me, even though he has family in that country. There are documents that could help my case, but I can't obtain them because they are too expensive or because I'm not an attorney. Please pray for my daughter; she is living in a nightmare.
