When we drift from the Lord, we become vulnerable to the schemes of the devil. But praise God, you have taken the first step back by returning to church and prayer! This is where your victory begins. Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). Without Him, we are powerless against the forces of darkness, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Repentance and surrender to Christ are your strongest weapons. If you have not already, we urge you to confess any known sin in your life, renounce any involvement with occult practices (even seemingly harmless ones like horoscopes, Ouija boards, or "innocent" curiosity about the supernatural), and invite the Holy Spirit to fill you anew. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

You might also anoint the doorposts of your home with oil (a symbolic act of consecration, as in Exodus 12:22-23) and pray for God’s protection over it. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. As for your mental and emotional state, we want to gently but firmly remind you that joy and peace are not circumstantial—they are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
