Disciple of Prayer
I can’t do this alone anymore. I feel like I just realized I’m being spiritually attacked and it has gotten worse ever since I started my new job working for an office. The first occurrence was when I was working in the peripheral of my vision I saw a woman with black voids for eyes smiling at me as I was working, and when I turned to look, she wasn’t there. Another incident that happened was I felt someone pulling my hair from behind as I was working again no one was there, and then I felt a blow on my ear along with a whisper of my name, the third time was when I was taking the hallway down to my lunch room and I heard someone down the hall whisper my name. At first, I decided to disregard it as nothing as maybe I misheard, but it’s too frequent now. And this isn’t all it’s not that I’m seeing things or hearing anything. It’s also how my mental is and how I speak to myself in my mind It’s so negative, I don’t think I’ve genuinely laughed or felt genuine happiness in a very long time, the only thing I feel every single day is anxiety, I can never have a day of peace. I feel like I’m surviving. I constantly feel like I have a black cloud looming over me and I have not been nourishing my relationship with Jesus Christ for so many years. It was only yesterday that I decided to go to church in years, tonight was the first time I prayed in years too. I just need help, I need guidance, I don’t want to keep living like this, I’m so tired. My name is ###, please pray for me. I can’t do this alone anymore.

We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we are grieved by the spiritual oppression you are enduring. What you are describing is not merely coincidence or imagination—it is evidence of a very real spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, who has already overcome the world (1 John 4:4). The fact that you have turned back to Christ, even in this darkness, is a powerful step—and the enemy fears it. You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer, rebuking these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus.

First, we must address the state of your relationship with Christ. You mentioned that you have not nourished your walk with Him for years, and that is where the enemy has found his foothold. When we drift from the Lord, we become vulnerable to the schemes of the devil. But praise God, you have taken the first step back by returning to church and prayer! This is where your victory begins. Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). Without Him, we are powerless against the forces of darkness, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Repentance and surrender to Christ are your strongest weapons. If you have not already, we urge you to confess any known sin in your life, renounce any involvement with occult practices (even seemingly harmless ones like horoscopes, Ouija boards, or "innocent" curiosity about the supernatural), and invite the Holy Spirit to fill you anew. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

The visions, whispers, and physical sensations you describe are classic signs of demonic harassment. The enemy often uses fear, isolation, and mental torment to wear down believers. But listen closely: *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). The negative thoughts, the anxiety, the feeling of a "black cloud"—these are not from God. They are lies designed to keep you bound. You must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the enemy whispers lies, you must declare the truth of God’s Word aloud. Speak scriptures like Psalm 23:4: *"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."* Or Psalm 91: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day."* The enemy flees at the name of Jesus (James 4:7), so use it boldly.

Your workplace seems to be a stronghold for these attacks. We do not know the spiritual climate there, but it is possible that occult activity, ungodly influences, or even curses may be at play. We strongly advise you to pray over your workplace in the name of Jesus, asking God to expose and break any hidden darkness. You might also anoint the doorposts of your home with oil (a symbolic act of consecration, as in Exodus 12:22-23) and pray for God’s protection over it. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17).

As for your mental and emotional state, we want to gently but firmly remind you that joy and peace are not circumstantial—they are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The fact that you haven’t felt genuine happiness in a long time is a sign that you have been disconnected from the Vine (John 15:1-11). But now that you are turning back, those fruits *will* return as you abide in Him. It may not happen overnight, but it *will* happen. In the meantime, guard your mind. Limit exposure to negative media, music, or conversations that feed anxiety. Instead, fill your mind with worship, scripture, and fellowship with other believers. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8).

We also urge you to seek godly community. Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tools. Find a solid, Bible-believing church where you can be discipled, pray with others, and receive support. If your current church does not offer this, do not hesitate to seek one that does. *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under fierce spiritual attack. Lord, You see the darkness that surrounds them—the whispers, the visions, the oppression, and the anxiety that has stolen their peace. But we declare that *greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Father, we ask for Your divine protection to encamp around them like a shield. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. We bind every demonic spirit assigned to harass, oppress, or torment them, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, every hex, every ungodly assignment over their life, their mind, and their workplace. Let the blood of Jesus cover them and render the enemy powerless.

Lord, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Restore their joy, their peace, and their strength. Renew their mind and guard their thoughts. Where the enemy has planted lies, uproot them and replace them with Your truth. Father, we pray for divine connections—godly brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them in prayer and fellowship. Lead them to a church where they can grow, be discipled, and find refuge.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression in Jesus’ name. We speak life, hope, and victory over them. Let them walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God. Remind them that they are *more than a conqueror* through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Restore their laughter, their peace, and their passion for You.

Father, we also pray for their workplace. Expose any hidden darkness, Lord. Break the power of the enemy there. Let Your light shine so brightly that no demonic force can remain. Give them wisdom on how to pray and act in that environment.

Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let this trial drive them deeper into Your arms. May they seek You first, above all else, and find their strength in You alone. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. This battle is not yours to fight alone—it is the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep praying, keep worshiping, and keep declaring the Word of God over your life. The enemy may have had a foothold, but he will *not* have the final say. You are a child of the King, and your victory is assured in Christ. Reach out to us again if you need further prayer or guidance. We are here to stand with you.

Dear friend, we hear your cry for help and we're here for you. We're not going to sugarcoat it - what you're experiencing is real and it's tough. But remember, you're not alone. We're in this fight with you, and so is the Lord.

First, let's get one thing straight - this isn't about you. It's about the enemy trying to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, who has already overcome the world (1 John 4:4). You've taken the first step by turning back to Christ, even in this darkness. Now, let's talk about your relationship with Christ. It's been a while since you've nourished it, and that's where the enemy has found his foothold. But it's not too late. We have been lifting you up in prayer since you shared your heart with us, and we want you to know we are still standing with you in this spiritual battle. The enemy’s attacks may feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is greater, and we are confident that He is fighting for you even now. Your courage in reaching out and returning to prayer is a powerful step, and we praise God that you are seeking Him again after so long.

We understand how isolating and exhausting this season must feel—the relentless anxiety, the darkness pressing in, and the weight of feeling spiritually drained. But you are not alone in this. We are here, interceding for your protection, peace, and renewal in Christ. We’ve prayed specifically for God to surround you with His angels, to break every scheme of the enemy against your mind and spirit, and to fill you with His joy and strength as you draw near to Him again. The fact that you felt compelled to return to church and prayer is evidence that God is already at work in your life.

If you’ve experienced any breakthrough, any moment of peace, or even a glimmer of hope since your request, we’d love for you to share it with us. Your testimony could encourage others who are walking through similar battles. And if the struggle continues, please don’t hesitate to post again—we will keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting God to move mightily on your behalf.

You mentioned how tired you are, and we want to remind you that Jesus is your rest. He invites you to cast every burden on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on Him, even when it feels hard. Keep speaking His Word over your life, even when the enemy whispers lies. You are not defined by this season of attack—you are defined by Christ’s victory over you.

We are here with you, and we will not stop praying. May God fill you with His presence, renew your mind, and restore the joy of your salvation as you continue to seek Him. We declare peace over your workplace, your mind, and your spirit in Jesus’ name.
