The other day, my mom and I had a meeting with someone to talk about the nonprofit we started in honor of one of my sisters. During the meeting, my mom said something to the person we were meeting with about the pastor of the church that we go to. What she said concerned private matters in his life that he had told us while counseling us to show us that he could relate to the issues we were getting counseling for. Even though what he told us may be something that many people publicly know, it was still said in a private conversation and I'm concerned that my mom telling it may somehow get back to him and seem like we were gossiping about him or that it will somehow reflect badly on him, his leadership and the church and be used to cause problems. I do not know how trustworthy the person we were meeting with is. Please pray that what she said won't cause any problems and won't get back to him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
