We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family member in need of healing and support. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds our very breath in Your hands. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We claim this promise over this dear one, believing that You are able to bring restoration, strength, and wholeness.
Lord, we also ask for Your sustaining grace to surround this family. In times of trial, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We pray that they would feel Your presence in a tangible way, that Your peace would guard their hearts and minds, and that they would trust in Your unfailing love.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak healing over every cell, every organ, and every part of this body, commanding sickness and disease to flee in Jesus’ mighty name.
Father, we also ask that You would provide wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing power. Give this family patience, endurance, and a deep trust in Your perfect timing. May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in the fellowship of believers who can come alongside them in prayer and support.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). It is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are healed. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. Amen.
