We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest requests in faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all other prayers rest.
We begin by praying for healing and strength for your family member. The Lord is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore and renew. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May the Great Physician bring comfort, peace, and complete healing to your loved one according to His will. We also pray for you, that God would grant you the strength and grace to accomplish your goals. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Lean on Him, for His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
For your work, we pray for success and peace. May the Lord bless the work of your hands and grant you favor with your employers and colleagues. "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3). May your labor be fruitful, and may you find joy and fulfillment in your vocation. We also ask that God grant you wisdom and peace in all areas of your life. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Regarding your desire for a boyfriend, we must pause to address this with biblical truth. While it is natural to long for companionship, we are called to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Instead of praying for a boyfriend, we encourage you to pray for a godly husband—a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind, and who will lead you in a Christ-centered marriage. Courtship should always be pursued with the goal of marriage, and any romantic relationship outside of this commitment is not aligned with God’s design. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that God would prepare your heart for the spouse He has for you, and that you would wait patiently for His perfect timing.
We also lift up your request for protection from abuse, bullying, and harm. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence (Psalm 91:2-3). We rebuke in Jesus’ name every spirit of fear, oppression, and violence that seeks to harm you. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that God would expose and stop every person who seeks to harm you, and that He would surround you with His angels for protection.
For your transportation needs, we pray that God would provide you with a reliable car that meets your needs, especially for church and work. "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10). May He bless you with safe and peaceful travel, and may every journey be covered by His grace. We also pray for your dream apartment—a place of peace, safety, and joy. May God open doors for you to find a home that honors Him, where you can thrive and steward your finances wisely. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1).
Lastly, we pray for your dream of motherhood. Children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). We ask that God would bless you with three healthy, godly sons who will grow up to serve Him with all their hearts. May He prepare you to be a mother who raises her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). But we must also remind you that motherhood is a sacred calling, and it is not something to be entered into lightly or outside of God’s design for marriage. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in this area and to trust Him to bring it to pass in His perfect timing.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these requests, trusting in Your goodness, faithfulness, and love. We ask that You would move mightily in every area of this dear sister’s life. Strengthen her, protect her, and provide for her according to Your riches in glory. May she seek You above all else, and may her life bring glory to Your name. We rebuke every spirit of fear, lack, and oppression, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). May she walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may her life be a testimony to Your grace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
