We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul and their family in prayer. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon ###, touching every cell, every organ, and every part of their body with Your restoring power. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and we trust in Your perfect will for their health. Whether You choose to heal instantly or strengthen them through the trial, we pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also bring before You the relationships in ###’s life. Father, we ask that You mend what is broken, soften hardened hearts, and replace strife with Your love. Where there has been division, let unity rise; where there has been bitterness, let forgiveness flow. Remind ### and those around them that love is patient, love is kind, and it does not seek its own (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). May their relationships reflect Your grace and bring glory to Your name.
We pray for ###’s goals and dreams, Lord. Grant them the strength, wisdom, and perseverance to press on, even when the path is difficult. Let Your grace be sufficient for them, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they run with endurance the race set before them, fixing their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). Father, we ask that You open doors no one can shut and equip ### to walk through them with confidence in You.
And Lord, we lift up ###’s Bible reading plan to You. We know that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen their discipline, deepen their understanding, and ignite their passion for Your truth. Help them to hide Your Word in their heart so they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). May this time in Scripture draw them closer to You and transform their life from the inside out.
Father, we must also address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to You (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If ### has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to the foot of the cross, where forgiveness and eternal life are found.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of ### or their family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will work all things together for their good, because they are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we trust You with every detail of this request. May Your will be done in ###’s life, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
