However, we will rebuke the culture that has pushed the importance of staying youthful and beautiful that has led to that request. It is important to remember that God looks at the heart, not our outward appearance. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
Instead, let us pray for good health and that God will help you take care of your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us also pray that you will be reminded of your true beauty and worth, which is found in Christ.
