Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for a veteran seeking assistance.

I ###, an Honorably Discharged, U.S. Air Force Veteran, have been constantly tormented by "Evil Spirits/Demons" since January 2nd, 2011...I'm a disabled veteran, and I've now spent nearly $### dollars, towards seriously trying to get rid of it from tormenting me, to no avail.....And now I'm on the brink of being "Homeless!" I've had a lot of people "Scam Me" claiming they are specialists in this area. And can get it off, of me! I found out after spending the little money I have that it's all lies....And now "I'm Distraught" because I seriously don't want to be plagued, and have to suffer with this "Demon" on me for the remainder of my life.....Can anyone out there please help me?? I know that reading the Bible, and saying prayers, everyday, will not get rid of it at all! A mean-spirited, hateful and spiteful person imposed it on me for no logical nor justifiable reason.

Lord we thank You that You see and know all things and even concerning ###'s situation. Lord show him what he needs to do to align himself with Your word and give him the grace to cooperate with Your Holy Spirit. May Your word speak and shine brightly into his heart each time he reads Your word daily. Give him the sheer determination to read Your word no matter what or how his feelings are.

Also, Lord please send Your servant across his path to encourage him and to pray together with him. Give him godly fellowship Lord.

May he ask help from his pastor and may he be discipled properly so that he can stand against all negative thoughts that is thrown from the evil one. May his pastor or church leaders pray over him with anointing oil for his healing.

We ask this in Your most precious Name, Jesus, amen.

Christ, we pray heal this man from the demons that hold him. Fill him with thy Holy Spirit, that it may give him the spiritual armor he needs to do battle with this evil. Father have mercy on us, we ask all in thy Son's name, Jesus Christ. Wash him in the blood of the Lamb shed for all our sins O King of kings. Amen.

Now turn to Romans 8:11, but if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his spirit that dwelleth in you. God have stepped into your situation to give you quick recovery. In Luke 13:16, And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day. In Matthew 8:17, Jesus himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. You have every right to be healed because of the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ Himself. His blood alone qualifies you for healing. You demon that have been trespassing of God's property, henceforth, I stop your operations in this body. In Jesus' name you are defeated by the blood of Jesus Christ now and forever, Amen!! Be healed!!

Presious Sir, may I give you some practical advice.

Be leary of any "expert" who claims to be able to help with demonic issues but wants money to do it. These people are just out to take advantage of you and steal your money. No one who is empowered by God and has a personal relationship with him would demand or require money. Legitimate people in spiritual warfare ministry would be willing to help you WITHOUT a money attachment.

Read God's word and memorize it. Use it to renew your mind. When negative, evil ideas come or voices come into your mind, cast it down by speaking scripture in faith. Repeat it in your head, say it out loud, post it around your place, and get pre-recorded scripture to play. Constantly listen to it when at home, in the car, etc. The devil hates the truth!

Pray to God in faith. He promised to empower believers with the Holy Spirit to overcome the works of the devil. God can give you the power to drive this thing out of your life.

If you are into sin stop! You are just giving the devil a foothold to enter your life and allowing him to build a stronghold. Confess all sin and repent. Have you or your family ever been involved in any type of occult activities? (ie; channeling, taro cards, satanism, weegie boards, black magic, spell casting, clairvoyance, palm reading, necromancy, astrology, voodoo, witchcraft, etc.)

These and many more pagan dark arts are strictly forbidden in the Bible. If you or your family are involved (or have history) in any of this stuff the devil has an open door to attack you. He can gain control over you (or parts of your life) much like a hacker can gain control over a computer when the firewall has been breached. If this is your situation you will need some serious spiritual intervention.

Remember, even the devil has limits. He can only go as far as we will permit him. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Find a Bible Based, Spirit Filled Church! Bring your need to the Senior Pastor. Ask them to pray for you. They may be able to refer you to a real expert in this area. They should be more than happy to help or point you in the right direction.

If you put all this into practice and nothing seems to be changing, then you may also want to seek medical advice as there could be a legitimate Mental Health issue. I would check with the V.A. to see what they can offer you if you need to explore this option. Being a veteran of such a horrible war there may be unresolved issues of Post-Traumatic Stress. There could be a history of family mental illness.
