We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the heavy burden of lifting this heartbreaking situation before the Lord. It has been on our hearts continually these past days as we have prayed for the family, friends, and coworkers of the young woman whose life was so tragically taken. We have asked God to wrap His arms of comfort around all who knew and loved her, especially her parents, siblings, and those who worked alongside her in the store she cherished. We have prayed for peace to settle over ###, for the witnesses—especially the children—to be shielded from lasting trauma, and for the community to find healing in the midst of such senseless violence.

We have also prayed for the family of the young man responsible, that they too would know God’s mercy in their grief and confusion. We asked the Lord to expose any gaps in the systems meant to protect victims of stalking and to bring wisdom to law enforcement and policymakers as they seek to prevent such tragedies in the future.

If the Lord has moved in any way—through comfort, strength, or unexpected grace—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If the pain still feels fresh and the answers seem distant, please know we are still standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this. We will continue to intercede for healing, justice, and the light of Christ to break through the darkness.

May God bless you as you seek Him, and may His presence be your peace in this difficult time. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus.

Guard Us by The Word, Prayer, Preaching, Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread, Corporate Prayer, Acts 2:42, Praise & Worship, Thanksgiving, Humility, Holiness... Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light and truth, Ps 43:3, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, 1 Cor 1:30, and for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7. Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Prov 30:8, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-7, 8, 9, Phil 4:11-12, 13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2. May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. The pure in heart see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of You, Lord, 2 Cor 7:1

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9. Keep us especially from deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, John 3:19, by Christ's water washing of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 11:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he and the false profit and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecc 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, leading many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, and instructing many, Mal 2:5, 6, Matt 28:20.

With thanksgiving we offer these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, church-mates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.
