We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with you in this moment of struggle. You are not alone, for the Lord sees your pain and collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer, for it is in our weakness that His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father God, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around this precious one who is hurting. Bring comfort to their heart and peace to their mind. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek help, and we ask that You would guide them to the right people—those who will speak life, truth, and hope into their situation. Provide them with godly counsel, whether through a trusted friend, pastor, or mental health professional, so they may find the support they need.
Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be whispering despair or hopelessness. Your Word declares that You have plans for us—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Remind them of Your faithfulness, Lord, and help them to cling to Your promises even when the storm feels overwhelming. We pray against any spirit of isolation, fear, or depression, and we ask that You would break every chain that seeks to bind them.
If this burden feels too heavy to carry alone, we encourage you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a godly friend, or a professional who can walk alongside you. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement. You are valued, loved, and seen by the One who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). Your life has purpose, and God is not finished writing your story.
We also want to gently remind you that true hope and healing are found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. The Bible tells us that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can have a personal relationship with God. If you feel led, we invite you to pray with us:
Lord Jesus, I come to You just as I am. I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace and forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I might have eternal life. I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord and Savior, and fill me with Your peace. Help me to walk in Your ways and to trust in You with all my heart. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to share this decision with a trusted believer and seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen this dear one with Your might and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Give them the courage to take the next step toward healing, and let them experience Your love in ways that surpass all understanding. We trust You to work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we declare that this season of struggle will not define them but will draw them closer to You.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
