Suicidal Friend

Please pray for my close friend. Her name is Samantha and she is 16 years old. She has deep depression and self harms and has an eating disorder. I know about one of her secret accounts on instagram where she anonymously posts things about her depression. She does not know I know about it. She has recently posted multiple things that lead me to believe she is planning on attempting suicide on November 18. I have just told her mother, which she also does not know about. I am terrified of losing her. Please pray for her. For ger safety. Rebuke the spirits of suicide, depression, self harm, and eating disorders. Especially suicide. She has been very far from God lately in her life and I fear if she dies now she will not go to heaven. Please pray for her. Thank you so much.

Lord, I lift up Samantha. Please protect her and keep her from all harm. Guide her mother and those around her to do what they need to do. I pray also for Samantha's salvation, that her time of depression can be use to draw her to know the Lord as her Saviour and she will be healed of her eating disorder. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

You did the right thing to tell her mother, @luckyraindrop. If she does not appear to take it seriously, then tell a school counselor.
