Suffering?

Hello brothers and sisters. I just wanted to share a word from the Lord I received in study tonight. You've all read it before but sometimes I think we need reminding. I know I do anyway. It kind of helps me to remember that the Lord we serve, Jesus Christ was persecuted way before we were and it was for the purpose of saving you and I from eternal damnation. Now think of what purpose your trials, tribulations, struggles are for. Are they for nothing, or are they going to be for the glory and honor of Christ? Don't let your pain be the devils pleasure, say no to the devil and say yes to the Lord, no...it's not fun to be in pain but think of these words written by Silas from Peters mouth, given to him straight from God. 1 Peter, 4:12, Niv...Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgement to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. Now in my words, I know that many of us are suffering...if we weren't I would wonder if we were truly doing the Lords work. Don't get me wrong, I want to live a happy, joy joy, fun filled life, but it won't be in this one guys....it will be in Heaven, for trillions and trillions of years...forever people. Don't let 80 years of struggle take away trillions of years of Joy. Doesn't make sense, does it? So knowing most of you, I know we will take up our cross...follow Jesus Christ and reap the reward in Heaven. I love all of you guys, this site is truly an annointed site and I thank God that he led me here, take care guys and take heart..you are not alone, Jesus is always with you, Amen.

Heavenly Father, give us an eternal perspective and help us rejoice in trials. Let us be faithful unto death that we might receive the crown of life (Rev 2:10). Thank you in the Name of Jesus.

Lord give us strength to endure our trials. Help us through the times we are weak. When we are weak dear Lord you are strong. Help us to keep this long term goal of a life with you forever fresh in our minds that we will endure with strong hearts. Help us meet all our needs in this difficult time. Be with us dear Lord always. I give thanks dear Lord for the wonderful brothers and sisters on this site and their kindly support and prayer filled hearts. Thank you for our dear brother Daniel who is such a strong soul he encourages us all. Bless Daniel and all our brothers and sisters on this site. Thank you dear Lord and our beautiful Father in Heaven for all the precious things you do. I feel your love dear God and appreciate it very much. I am in total firm agreement to Daniel, our Wonderful Deacon, Prayer! Lord, you spoke to me in this just now. Thank you Lord! Thank You Daniel, You are a Man of God, and You are truly an angel to me and many others!!Thank You Lord for placing Daniel on this site for us all Lord! Lord, Austin asked me Mom, why do bad things happen if the Lord is Good. I said to him and Lord I am relearning your word, If everything was alright all the time, Who would turn to God? No, God didn't want this world to be this way, but the Devil is pulling people and God wants us to run to him! Lord, I know we all are tired of our troubles, but these troubles are building our faith and Showing all us to Not Give up, we all may have to say this to ourselves every second of the day, I do Lord, Teach us Lord, We have to Rely on You Lord, You Are In Control, You sent YOUR son, Jesus, to die for us, and so we all can be saved. Who needs anymore than that? Not me Lord, I love you, forgive me of my sins, give strength to all of us Lord, as we are going through difficult times. Be Strong and Brave and Wait on the Lord's Help. Thanks, Daniel. That was really awesome & inspiring. Also, I wonder if all of us would have found this site or engage in other Christian fellowship, had we not been going through some sort of pain/suffering. Our life here on earth is but a blink of an eye... only to us, pain makes it feel a lot longer. I can't wait to live a trillion+ joyous years in Heaven!! Thanks again!

Lord, help us to keep our eyes on you & to praise you even through our pain & suffering. Thank you for bringing us one day closer to joining you in Heaven. Thank you for this website where we can come to you, and find friendship & support from other followers of Christ. I thank you for the burden Christ carried for my sins. Amen

Daniel, thank you for my wisdom for the day.

I know if my life was always smooth and easy. I would not be as close to the Lord as I am. I suffered through this storm. Still suffer at times. But now, I can rejoice in the Lord. For I know he is always with me. God got my attention. That is so awesome. I am thankful for finding this site, and all my new friends in Christ. This site keeps me close to God, when i can't be in church. My friends here keep me on the right track. What awesome prayers I have gotten here. I know everybodys prayers are working. God is listening, andhe loves us unconditionally. God is always going to make sure we are always taken care of. Maybe not the way we want to be taken care of. But he knows us better then we know ourselves. I am so thankful that God loves us, no matter how many times we turn our backs on him. Thank you Jesus, thank you for all you do. I am so blessed. Amen
