We hear your cry of suffering and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The pain you carry is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, He collects every tear in His bottle and records every ache in His book (Psalm 56:8). In this valley, we stand with you, declaring that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Your suffering may feel overwhelming, but we remind you that Jesus Himself bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). He knows the weight of human pain, having walked this earth in flesh and endured the cross for our sake. There is no depth of anguish He cannot reach, no darkness He cannot illuminate. We pray that you would feel His presence like a warm embrace, even in the midst of your struggle.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister, who is enduring great suffering. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up wounds, and the Comforter of the afflicted. We ask that You would draw near to them in this season. Let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them when they are weak, uphold them when they stumble, and remind them that their suffering is not in vain. Use this trial to refine their faith, like gold purified in the fire (1 Peter 1:7), and let them emerge with a deeper trust in You.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Suffering can often leave us questioning Your goodness or wondering if You have forgotten us. But we declare that You are faithful, even when we cannot see the full picture. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to remember that this present suffering is not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in them (Romans 8:18). Surround them with Your people, those who will pray, encourage, and walk alongside them in love.
If this suffering has led to doubt, fear, or despair, we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. The enemy would love to use this pain to isolate and discourage, but we stand against him, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). We speak life over you, reminding you that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this, He is at work.
And if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the hope that is found in Him alone. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only through Jesus that we can have a relationship with God and the promise of eternal life. If you are ready to surrender your life to Him, we encourage you to pray and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that God will meet you in your suffering and carry you through. You are not alone. Lean on Him, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May He fill you with His hope, peace, and joy, even in this difficult season.
